  1. That's just messed up. How you even think that is funny is beyond me. It left me feeling sick. You are laughing at people that actually want to work hard to earn money for their families. That's just sick. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  2. Ben likes big toys. He also has a tank. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

  4. Jason, Since you are downsizing already, things are gonna happen fast on the prairie. You'll find less decision time in the pattern as well as faster landings. Mind your altitude so you have the full time under canopy. Maybe do a couple of low key two ways to start off. Even a solo. When you come in to land, embrace the speed. Let your canopy fly in full flight on final. A common mistake is to "milk the brakes". That's not cool. You'll compromise your lift. So remember, "Speed is your friend." "Speed is lift." LET IT FLY, to maximize your lift. Feel free to call for a chat anytime. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  5. Byron is in! This weekend has been a tough one again! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

  8. Survival of the species. If there is one man left and 50 women, there can be a lot more "Procreation" than if it was the other way around. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  9. It's true. Your rig looks beautiful. Your reserve flap looks like it's not tucked all the way in. What size is your rig and what size is your reserve? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  10. Arizona Airspeed flew purple an teal for quite some time. They are not girly... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  11. Do you jump close to the ocean? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  12. You can hook up your own risers fairly quickly with the help of a rigger. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  13. Wow! That's all I have to say. If you are ordering new containers, this will not be an issue. They have modified their system in order to eliminate rigging errors in the field. Errors which a properly trained rigger should never make. Furthermore the Mirage system is not the only system that would have been suseptible to that error. They were just the first to issue a service bulletin in an effort to prevent further rigging errors in the field. Does your other container of choice have an internal pop-top (reserve pilot chute)? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  14. He's in Russia. And the gear may differ from what you are used to. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  15. Gath Helmets makes one just for this purpose. You can contact any Gath dealer to order one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  16. I would say, determine your: Canopy size Price range Level of performance Then see what the used gear market has to offer you at the time you are ready to purchase. You can be flexible on price, but stand firm on the other two. (Size and Performance) So many times a "really good deal" will come up. But it is a smaller canopy than you wanted. Thas is NOT a really good deal. At this point seek the help of an advisor. This could be a local jumpmaster, rigger or gear dealer. Feel free to PM me with your "finds", and I can help you determine if it is a good match for you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  17. It's good to hear a positive story like that. Thanks for posting it. Did you get your jumpsuit in time? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  18. I third that notion. Check with the manufacturer. They have a great reputation of fixing these issues and making happy customers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  19. You mentioned in another thread that you wanted to start sit flying. Most 92 Javs I've seen have not been ideal for that. There is some issue with both the main closing flap and the riser covers staying closed in those older models. Also there is some bridle exposure that could cause major problems like a premature conatiner opening and/or horseshoe malfunction. If you decide to go with that container, you may not be able to freefly in it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  20. Both Mirage and Infinity boast a lead time of only 4 weeks! New gear in a month! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  21. I have 9 reserve rides, and I have never packed myself a malfunction. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  22. You'll likely have to pull in your wings to the "chicken" position... if that makes sense... when you pull. So pull both arms in and reach back while holding your pull arm close to your body so you don't spin like a top when you go to pull.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  23. Jump #97 and 5 months. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  24. I didn't think you were slammin'. I'm just saying there is no cookie cutter answer. And I understand how you feel too. I didn't have new gear until well into my skydiving.... dare I say.... career. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  25. Have fun! I wish I could go. But I should really keep the store open in Byron. Welcome to the forums. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
