Looks like a Boeri Axis. I've jumped mine. If yours is the same, you can pull back the lining over either ear, and insert an audible. -

When I was laid off and tried to get back the individual Blue Shield plan I had dropped 1.5 years earlier, after having it for ~18 years, they didn't want to let me have that one again ($3000/yr premiums at age 47, with a $2000 deductable); they wanted a lot more for worse coverage. So I HIPPA'd it until I got another full-time job.

Nice looking gloves. I didn't see anywhere on the site I visited to order them direct. I guess you can haul out the white fabric paint, if they need to be whiter.

Yes, that is one of the irritating things about word usage. A lot of what is "correct" is just what is in widespread use. Word definitions are changed in dictionaries as they acquire new meanings through common usage, even though that would have be "incorrect" when first used.

I had lots of fillings as a kid without Novacaine. BTW, my brother's housekeeper said it was tradition in her village (somewhere in Nigeria) to pull all of the baby teeth, so the the adult teeth would come in straight. Don't know if the was the cause, but she did have really nice teeth.

I think that there would be a significant market for the smaller-packing reserve, if the cost difference were in the $125-$200 range. Less than $100 and half the market would buy them, more than $250 and less than 10%. And I wouldn't be the 1st, or 101st, on the block to have one. JMHO.

And for much less at some events. Something funny about the finger length, though. Correct on some fingers and a bit too long on others. I'm thinking about re-sewing those fingers shorter.

No jumping for me, but I did get in 6 IFR approaches, including one at my home DZ. Nobody was there, since there was 800' overcast. Anyway, I'm sorta current flying instruments again.
