I have many theories regarding wal-mart. for example - you can blow up any given wal-mart at any given time, any where - the avg iq of the world goes up 10 pts. Scars remind us that the past is real

I'm not out to justify gluttony. I'm wondering if there really is such a ratio. Maybe there could be one for other things as well....like alcohol. I could be waay behind on my alcohol ratio and need to catch up. I get research ideas like that all the time. Walmart is very fertile ground for getting research ideas. For example - I'm always amazed at not just the number of obese people but the degree of obesity - we're talking about some very, very fat people (who coincidentally wear the tightest, skimpiest clothes available). Now it takes energy to move - with the amount of energy required directly proportional to the mass to be moved. So I've been gathering numbers to see just how much less energy a fit person requires to move from aisle 1 to 12 versus a 'large' person in a tube top. my knee jerk reaction is that if we integrate that amount of energy over the population of the US (accounting for the % obese people in the US) we could almost cut our dependence on foreign oil if we just stop stuffing our face at McDonalds. Wal-mart is a double edge sword for me - I hate going there, but sooooooo many ideas. Scars remind us that the past is real

step away from the chocolate bag... hahaha But seriously - why not eat them? If you go so long between bouts of sweets...you'll make it up. I'm wondering if there is some set ratio of chocolate consumption per day we are supposed to have. If you are below this ratio you would have to eat chocolate until you balance out your ratio. hmmm.... Scars remind us that the past is real

Hi, Do you have a chance to go to a rigging loft that has double needle machines with binding attachment? Well, try to find one. Binding is all about practice. I'm pretty sure will hear all kind of techniques here, but I suggest to you personally watch how is done! Actually, try to spend some time on a rigging loft to learn not only binding techniques. There are a lot of more stuff to learn that it will make you feel good about it. I hope this helps! Cheers, I'm actually using a double needle machine with a binding attachment. My question is how do I pivot the material to get around the corner when I have two needles in the fabric as opposed to one. The only thing I've figured so far is to raise the needles out of the fabric, raise the foot, twist and then go. I don't really like the way that works and it looks bad, but I don't see another way to do it. Scars remind us that the past is real

On a single needle machine corners are straight forward - needle down, foot up, pivot the material go. There's a double needle consew with a binding attachment that works great until you get to a corner.... am I being dense and missing something obvious or is there no easy way to do this? I sat in my office, ate some bad for me food and thought about how the interior of Mars might have developed and what implications that could have for finding water there and for formation of our own wonderful planet.... Scars remind us that the past is real

That is a frightening testament to our society. In effect what your saying is; "In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women." Am I right? Richards In that case I'm fucked.... I'm one broke sumbitch.... Scars remind us that the past is real

Eloy the weekend of the 15-16th...NAKED BOOBIES?
jumper03 replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
And I expect to see some of them boobies you mentioned then! Nope, not me. oh sure...NOW you got to Eloy.... Wonderful! I'm thinking of getting recurrent and renting gear for a few jumps back. Even if I don't jump, I will be flying in the tunnel, which I haven't done too much, since the summer. This should be a fun weekend. See you soon! -

I'd rather hear hers than mine though.... First lab of the semester last fall in intro physics - I'm doing measurements, significant figures and threw in density. So I gave them wooden blocks, rulers, and balances, told them to meausre the blocks, find the mass, calculate the density and compare it to the listed density (which was standard so they would have to do some conversions as i was making them measure in metric). So I pass out the stuff and a girl at the back raises her hand...."Um...How do I use the ruler?" Now usually a question like that, the other students will look at that person with the look "you dumbass" nope - they were all looking at me and I got nervous. "How many of you do not know how to use a ruler?" 47 out of 49 students raised their hand.... Scars remind us that the past is real -
Ok...youre a self righteous newbie. Out of all of this dicussion and discourse I have come to the conclusion that a whole bunch of you kiddies dont know your gear very well and are afraid of it. I went thru the riggers course in 1982...for one reason.....to pack my own reserve. I also learned about the intimacies of my gear....lost my gear fear. I also know an unnamed individual who pencil packed a rig for 4 years......it opened fine when he needed it. Dont misunderstand......i'm not saying its right...or even safe....but it does happen A LOT. That's fine. As long as you are pencil packing your own name on your own gear fine. I don't think that's the issue being discussed here. It's pencil packing with SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME that is the problem. Scars remind us that the past is real
