Something I've always wondered about - since you have so much more horizontal speed and cover more distance, don't you need to pull high to make it back to the DZ? Jump Scars remind us that the past is real

hey greenies, can I get nerd-to-english translation here? That can't be nerd...I don't understand a word of it... Scars remind us that the past is real

But when I was doing the tri-fold first, the bottom hem would curl and be a bitch to straighten. This way I can control the bottom hem and 'get it all the bag' HAHAHAHA Scars remind us that the past is real

Good point...but I'd rather have a sleeve over than a collar in tow.... Scars remind us that the past is real

WTF??? So you guys just crumple up your main and shove it in the bag????? damn..... I use laundry as a chance to practice folding and packing My new method: holding the shirt by the shoulders in front of you, fold in half - bringing the bottom up. Lay it down and straighten out the bottom hem (this always pissed me off with my old folding method as it was a bitch to straighten that thing out - this way makes it easy!) Then bring in the sides by doing a trifold - I bring the fold to about an inch away from the collar - and this way the sleeves just naturally fold back over and are straight, happy and wrinkle free (which was another thing that pissed me off about the old way), then fold in half again. Then all the visible creases are centered on the collor and there are no wrinkles!!!!! The pack volume is also down from the old method Jump Scars remind us that the past is real

Figured out a new way to fold my t-shirts! Been doing it this new way for a few weeks and it is FANTASTIC!!! Tighter fold, neater fold, less chance for wrinkles and fewer visible creases! YEEESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jump Scars remind us that the past is real

Dreamweaver is essentially point, click - viola. You don't NEED to know html to make a page but it helps. So basically you are relying on the program to do the coding for you. While that is nice in some cases, I like doing the coding myself. Call me old school but I feel if I've coded it by hand, I am more in tune with the program/page/what have you and can better diagnose and deal with any problems that arise or tune it to particular tastes. I agree with the others....Dreamweaver is incredibly easy to use. I usually just use notepad or some other text editor because I like a better level of control that you don't get with Dreamweaver. Jump Scars remind us that the past is real

Today is the first day of the NEW rest of my life!

Cool! Glad to hear it worked out. Always nice to realize that you made the right choice at the fork in the road!! If it were me though...I'd disregard that part about jumping less. Jump Scars remind us that the past is real -
Well, I know right where Zim is. I have many friends from Zimbabwe and they are worried sick about their families and I'm worried about them as well. I think Mugabe should be hung by his testicles in the broad daylight and let the flys and ants eat his ass alive. Zim is a beautiful country and don't get me started on the rocks...oh the Great Dyke...she's beautiful!! I think the human rights violations are much worse in Zim than they were in Iraq. Will we go in? very unlikely. Unless some terrorists take up camp there... Then LOOK OUT. The sad part is, if terrorist do take up there, we'll probably help out the mugabe government. If that happens I'm leaving. Jump Scars remind us that the past is real

Sorry....another wingloading question
jumper03 replied to jumper03's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
This question was brought about by another thread in the gear and rigging forum about the actual size of the PD176r being 188 sqft. So, if we have a jumper that is 160 with 15 lbs. of gear - are they loading the reserve at 1.00 or at 0.93? Similarly, are most canopies larger than the reported size? Or smaller? I know different manuf. measure differently but is this enough that the wingloading could be off as we compute it? Thanks Jump Scars remind us that the past is real -
We need proof....and we need proof that those outfits are yours...so put 'em on, and take some pics.. Mike Hmmmm...if she's got outfits that match that rig...I think a 'fashion' jump is in order... Jump Scars remind us that the past is real
