You're both probably awful drivers. /eta: I'm kidding of course, but you're absolutely right. Everyone has different criterion for quality driving. My goal is to walk that fine line where my passengers don't experience terror, and those in cars around me don't experience rage.

With all the comedy and personal stories dedicated to the belittling of the inconsiderate and intellectually unfortunate shared amongst those more adequate in both regards, I would not be surprised to find out 90% of the population never communicated with the rest of society (except of course to each other... in traffic... using cell phones.)

Most of the album Give Up makes a decent running CD. I actually like running to Drum and Bass myself. The album True Colors by High Contrast is a good one, particularly the songs "Return of Forever" and "Passion"

with the trackball I get around 9 seconds, with the wacom tablet I get just under 6 consistantly with my best being 5.208

I'm sure there are a lot of people who gasped when you called a 45 mile drive to a dropzone like Elsinore or Perris "quite a haul" I live out in Redondo and it only takes me an hour to get to Elsinore. And as many people have already mentioned, Pomona is not exactly a short drive to the beach. On the other hand, when I lived in Plantation, FL (about 30-40 minutes from the beach) I still went at least weekly.

a few things I'd like to see before I'd buy a camera phone. -better ccds... 640x480 is fine, but not if you use eyeball cam quality ccds, the pictures look too grainy. I don't need to be able to print off my shots, but if I put them on the web, I don't want people to laugh. -more space on the phone. this is definitely on it's way with newer phones using flash media of various formats. -if you are going to put bluetooth and a camera on the phone then for love of all things sacred, allow me to use the bluetooth to transfer the images to my computer. (notice I say "allow", the motorola v700 had this ability until the service providers got their hands on it and disabled it.)

A friend of mine got pulled over with his new Illinois license. The cop went to write up the ticket, stapled the license to the ticket and it cracked the license into three chunks. The cop walked back to my friends car, handed him the three pieces of his license and said, "I'll let you deal with that."
