Democrat with an important environmental concern
muff528 replied to dorbie's topic in Speakers Corner
I wouldn't worry too much about it, though. Once a few people slide off into the Marianna Trench the island will right itself and everything will work out OK. (Now, if only Key West would pitch a few thousand folks into the drink, that island would be worth visiting again.) -
BTW - the Mexican Boot Snake is extremely dangerous and is closely related to the Manitoba Snow Snake.
-
You should feed the snake, give him a nice place to live and make him feel wanted and loved .......just before you yell Lirpalorophis Vernslooftz and whack his head off!
-
IIRC, it wasn't any better than Mexican. Well maybe a little, but definitely not as good as Columbian.

QuoteIf you choose "a" "b" or "c",,,let's say "b". You now have B, he then tells you "a" is a double mal, do you want to stick with your choice, or switch to rig"c". Choose "c"! Keeping with original rig gives you 33% chance of having safe rig, switching gives you a 66% chance...........reply] At this point I ain't jumping none of 'em!

Anyone have details on this emergency bailout video?
muff528 replied to ryoder's topic in The Bonfire
[reply..................... If it is a Compair, it's a homebuilt similar in size to a PAC, can be powered by a piston or turbine engine, and I'm pretty sure they have pilot doors. Here's hoping he had a rig, and an easy time rolling out his door... From the pilotdave's translated page: "Update: the plane crashed, and the paratroopers jumped, one of which he took with him the pilot." -

Don't you mean "the pilot was trying to get the hell out, and the tandem pair got in hie way"? Why would anyone want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane? -

Wow, the airplane was only a month old. -

[reply...... Do they re-use numbers down there? Now that is strange. The Cessna photo was taken in 2004 and the Compair photo was taken Oct 2007 and states that the plane was new then. Edit to add - The DC-6 shown below the 206 in your link also seems to have carried the CC-PJE reg #. Photo taken 1980. -

Here's a very nice explanation of how the M-D Line was drawn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrLdKYRBOEE

Like "education" instead of "book larnin' " . Yeah, I get it. And don't forget the "Brarws" (my last wife never wore one) and the "warshing machine she never used" Why she's the last ex. Couldn't boil an egg but she sucked a mean dick. 200k worth. I was going to tell a joke about trailers, tornadoes and redneck divorces but that $200k may have dimmed your sense of humor about those things. I'm sensitive like that.

Like "education" instead of "book larnin' " . Yeah, I get it. That would be edjamuhcation (sp.) to you, feller!

Don't really matter how it's spelt. Not many can read it anyways.
-
That's really a pretty good explanation.

Anyone know if this can be used as reserve
muff528 replied to chrishansen's topic in Gear and Rigging
[reply............. There have been discussion in the past regarding the efficacy of getting out of a crippled airliner on your checked or even carry-on gear. As I recall, the conclusions did not support it as a viable option. That wouldn't stop me from trying.
