this is strange...i bought a trike a few years back, then went through the N-numbering process, in which I located a owner of the same trike make, (via FAA records) to ask him where he placed his n-numbers...wayne reed...I just bet you know him! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

Thanks... I think I need to find a local Skydivers Anonymous group - I'm thoroughly addicted I'm going a similar route with the airplane thing - building a Vans RV-8, so I'll be able to do all my own maint. and everything. Still gonna be $50-$80k when I'm done with it, though nice! what type of engine are you planning to instal? i have seen a few RVs flying around here, very very nice planes. since my land is on hills, no area for runway, i wanted a plane i could trailer and set up, it takes me about 45 mins to set up. i would like someday to pick up a kitfox with foldable wings, and maybe a 912 or 914.

Well, this is my first post here. Just started AFF out at Skydive San Diego. I did 2 & 3 today. Anyways, I know exactly what you mean. In a previous life, I was a flight instructor. Its about $6k just to get your license flying (if you're good) and then its about $100 an hour after that. Chews through money even faster than skydiving, I dare say. welcome to the jumping world. i did it in reverse...jumped then learn to fly. i went with the E-LSA trike, under 20 grand, can do your own repairs, and low cost to fly...about 30 an hour including fuel, engine tear down costs, and basic repair.

well, for me, when this life ends, it ends. sure, your energy may move on, but the body is dead. we donated my wifes body for research on CF. and if we can educate people, and stop the dumming down process of the general public, i'm all for it. my 10 cents. i know of places in northern california where they open a season for doe's (what the hell is the plural spelling for doe?) but only by bow and arrow, or automobile, but that season lasts all year. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? -

I worked a different type of "driving" job. I drove the display trucks for promotional companies, pickups up to full NASCAR style transforming big rigs. Talked the PR message, did TV spots, and rep. for whatever product they were pushing. Great money, per diem, and fun...and hit lots of dropzones. But, in essence my job was like being a greeter at Walmart....but god damn the money was good. My wife drove the second rig on one tour...and we were able to bank 10,000 a month, after all road expenses....gotta love per diem. Hard little industry to get into, but worth it. I did a little local freight work in So-Cal...it sucked...nothing like arriving at a drop on time, just to wait 3 hours to get unloaded. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

well, guess i got off cheap (ok ok, bad pun). i married a skydiver. a real skydiver. loves sex, loves to give oral, loves to get oral...(damn, life is good) and she didnt want a diamond. told me the last one she had cut her nose when she was in the shower (it spun around on her finger while she washed her face....probably after sex! doooh! oh, didnt marry the guy, gave back the diamond). my price...i never jump without her.....well, mostly. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
