...That sounds expensive!!! yep, it will be. when my flight instructor went down at Dumont dunes, the 45 minute Mercy Air to Vegas was $14,000. But then again, I am sure people have lost that in Vegas in under 5 seconds. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

i was up at your DZ awhile back...didnt get to jump though, i was getting some "ofical training" at the trike hanger just down the way. i will be back up there sometime to finish it off. its great when you have been flying for years, and then the FAA comes along and says, "hey, you need to fly OUR way." ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

ok, so i watch the trailer. if your (not you directly) marriage is like 90% of the ones i see, where people are not truely passionate about it in the first place, and get married because it is what society tells them they should do, this film might help. but it is very, very, very hard to change the core behavior of most people. but, to add, i am so sick of people having to turn to religion, or other outside influence, to save anything in their lives. what ever happened to doing things, taking actions, and being a good person just because it is the right thing to do. no one, not even a higher power, can change the core of someone, they, must do it themselves. but, i guess if you need an outside influence, ok. but i have seen so many hypocrites take this path, and not truely change their behavior or mindset. and, kirk cameron, is a controlling jerk. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

you know, i spend the same amount on a day of skiing, taking out the jet ski, or boat. i spent 5k to get into the sport, thats a smaller barrier to entry than a jet ski, boat, or harley. if i do 3 jumps, it is $72 for the day. i bet people spend way more than that on green fees at some of these golf courses. so, really, i dont think it is that much more expensive than other hobbies. and hell, what people spend at the mall eclipses my skydiving budget by far! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

man, the good old days that ended back in 1990 in California. i can fly my trike, jump, ski, snowboard, and climb a tree with no helmet...but if i get on pavement with 2 wheels, the god damn gov. has to be involved. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

during my wife's Bikram yoga certification course, she was doing 3 to 40 hours of yoga a day, in a 110 heated studio. it was critical that she kept her electrolytes up. she used cytomax. on the last week, she stopped, just didnt feel like going to the store for the last week. she collapsed in class, and had to be brought out. i work outside in the desert and use cytomax. seems to really help with me not getting tired. my wife now used just some lemon juice in water, with a pinch of salt....this will bring your electrolytes up too. and its all natural. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

not sure of his name, but the winner of i believe last years red bull races lives up here near us, over in Victorville, an article in the paper interviewed him. he is also a long time skydiver. would love to ask him if this was him. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

good for you! its a great time to buy. i just picked up number 6. my wife is a realtor and she double sided the deal. these are the times that the rich (real estate owners) get richer because of the excellent pricing. the fridge, get a used one...or one with a ding. we were able t get a $2000 model for $800..had a ding in the back. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

the best way my wife ever got a raise was to move to another company. then, get your ass self employed. since we have been self employed, we feel so much better about not making someone else rich, so they could just go out and act like a jerk. when you drive up and down some street with businesses, ask yourself... are there that many smart people in the world...NO....they just put their balls on the table and went forward. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

No shit. I'm already thinking that I should try to buy jump tickets in bulk as soon as I'm allowed. Hurricane season isn't over yet. you know, i have been to 48 states...and was on my way to live in Florida...."screw california!" (may birth state) i would say, then....i met my wife to be at perris (oh, and she got the F out of massachusetts...(spelling?))...and started thinking straight...like, the west is best. sure florida is a skydivers mecca, but hey, the west is laaaaaaid back....and dry. hell, there is a nor-easter going on right now. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
