Ahhhhh, don't leave out the girls, might offend some infantry wannabe chick... Problem is we are only sending in 20,000 instead of 500,000 and a shit-load of ordinance to get the job done right. If we cut and run then 3,000 of our military fighting men and women have lost their lives for nothing and we will have proven to the world that America does not have the resolve to stay the course and follow through her commitments to the final resolution... -

True... That being said, despite all the differences of opinion regarding that rather complex piece of literature called the Bible, whether you believe it or not, there are a lot of good positive philosophies contained in the scriptures. Unfortunately, there is also a way to justify just about any action be it negative or positive. - Mykel AFF-I10 Skydiving Priorities: 1) Open Canopy. 2) Land Safely. 3) Don’t hurt anyone. 4) Repeat…

I do not believe it was a “personal attack”, but rather a communicated observation. You come across as a repository of all knowledge and wisdom pertaining to the almighty brimming full of self righteous indignation, as if you know and understand the true meaning of life the universe and everything. That is what I meant when I said it is Christians like you that make it difficult on the rest of us (Christians). It’s okay to not know everything as you seem to portray yourself as being, and after spending 25 years of my life as a practicing atheist I can tell you from first hand experience that you will not be able to convert non-believers into born-agains with the above others attitude and by making God out to be a bully. I likely would have never opened myself up to a spiritual life, especially an organized religion with as much bad press and Christianity had it not been for a book I read that portrayed God as a kind, loving father type entity rather that one who just sends souls to eternal suffering in hell for not believing in John 3:16 (what I meant by the bully comment). This might be the first time I have communicated my personal spiritual beliefs on the internet. To an atheist, agnostic or other (different religions) any Christian that communicates their beliefs to others outside their circle of beliefs as you do, practically everything they say can be taken a personal insult. You may find yourself of better use (to the God you believe in) by trying to take on an attitude that better communicates the more passionate and loving side of possibilities that having an active spiritual life can deliver to the average non-believing Joe out there. Like the old saying goes about catching more Bees with honey. I have struggled with the decision to post this in a forum or a PM and I have decided to post it as you do not seem to be bothered by sharing your personal belief system in public and that maybe we can get feedback from others who may think I am a total prick, way off base, or perhaps plant seeds in the minds of other well intended Christians boisterously attempting the save the world or, other… What I am stating in this post is definitely not intended to be a personal attack what-so-ever and may be nowhere within the realm of reality, but rather an assessment based on my own observations (IMHO) so I apologize beforehand if I have said anything hurtful or inaccurate. You know your own heart and intentions so there is no need to debate or defend, I am just addressing the personal attack statement and hopefully have given you some food for thought to consider calming down the rhetoric a bit. Again, I apologize if I have done anything wrong. Peace brother… - Mykel AFF-I10 Skydiving Priorities: 1) Open Canopy. 2) Land Safely. 3) Don’t hurt anyone. 4) Repeat… -

Since I skydive for a living, it can hardly be considered a hobby, so my favorite hobby is cooking. One of the very best meals I know that is super simple is ded pig… In fact, this is what I am making my wife for dinner tonight… Very easy recipe that will absolutely delight: The Meat and Taters 1 Pork tenderloin (end piece is preferred but center will work too but not the LARGE end, use non-flavored meat) 2 Oranges Some small red potatoes 1 Tablespoon of flour Reynolds Cooking Bag 1. Put the flour in the cooking bag (prevents the bag from bursting) 2. Place the tenderloin fat side up in the bag. 3. Squeeze the juice of the orange into the bag 4. Toss the Red Potatoes in the bag 5. Tie the bag, vent it and cook at 350 for 75 minutes (just follow the directions on the cooking bag) When the meat is cooked, slice it thin against the grain, place the cut meat and taters in a serving dish large and deep enough so you can pour the sauce over the top. The Sauce 1 Stick of real butter (this is where is gets really unhealthy) 2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce (I use low sodium, not for health reasons, it just tastes better) 1 fresh lemon 2 Tablesoppns of Sour Cream Drippings that were left over in the cooking bag from the tenderloin (you can lift the fat off the top if you want but there will harlsy be any, this is a very lean cut of meat) 1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat (don’t burn it, I leave the sauce pan on the stovetop whild I bake the meat) 2. Wisk in the Soy Sauce, Lemon Juice and the Drippings were left over in the cooking bag from the tenderloin 3. Cooking over a medium low heat, whisk the sauce mixture until it just begging to bubble 4. Remove from heat, wisk in the Sour Cream 5. Pour it over the Meat and Tatters. 6. Back into the 350 oven for 15 minutes Sprinkle it wil parsley and VIOLA! I promise, you will not be able to stop eating until you have taken it way too far! Let me know how you like it… - Mykel AFF-I10 Skydiving Priorities: 1) Open Canopy. 2) Land Safely. 3) Don’t hurt anyone. 4) Repeat…

With, or without an RSL? A 120 Stiletto at a 1.6 WL with only 75 jumps??? Don't think an RSL will really matter... Mykel AFF-I10 Skydiving Priorities: 1) Open Canopy. 2) Land Safely. 3) Don’t hurt anyone. 4) Repeat… -

Pilotchute in tow and body position for reserve deployment?
AFFI replied to dgw's topic in Safety and Training
Cutting away the PC in tow - first of all it wastes time and altitude and secondly it can create a situation where the cutaway canopy can possibly entangle with the reserve if/when it comes out. If given the choice between 2 out and 2 entangled, I’ll take the two out (I guess that technically, 2 entangled counts as 2 out, but you get the idea). - Mykel AFF-I10 Skydiving Priorities: 1) Open Canopy. 2) Land Safely. 3) Don’t hurt anyone. 4) Repeat… -
http://www.canopypiloting.com/glc.htm Don't look like they regular canopies... Bill seem to have good advice - I woulden't try it. Kinda reminds me of guys trying to get towed by a truck - the don't die attitude worked but not the don't get fucked up...

Is Homer's Odyssey considered non-fiction? There is debate about that.

The OP makes it sound like every one of the 300 million Americans are war mongering death loving killers who all want to wage war and kill heathens. Believe it or not, there are many in this country that are not. Even many republicans. Saddam defied the inquiries of the international community repeatedly for years after he invaded Kuwait (the global communities were justified to intervene in the Kuwait incident) - Saddam brought devastation on himself by making it seem (not only to the USA) that something was being hidden. Not all Americans are in the death squads, but now the situation has become quite complex. A total pullout at this point to leave the Iraqis to fend for themselves would not be a good solution either. The milk is out of the glass and onto the table - What to do? How to solve it? I don’t know, it is a huge problem. -

The almighty personally made this recording? Wow...

good luck. don't hurt yourselves. I would hate to be out of skydiving for an extended period while healing from a GL injury.

Quite possibly, the most intelligent question asked in this string of debate...

Don't think you can use the "we reserve the right to refuse service" bit on a specific group of people based on race/religon and stuff like that. Don't know if it's legal to not allow gay's into your resturant.
