Vignetting in RFCONCEPTS 2.9mm bullet cam.
phoenixlpr replied to jadaj's topic in Photography and Video
I tried with a camera yesterday. I got a some vignetting too. BTW what camcorder are you using with? I'm using a Sony HC32E and I can only start recording from PLAY/EDIT mode and menu only . That's difficult and slow . -
No. That's a student stuff, that's ain't cool. You know freeflying is cool so freeflyers should always look cool....
-
Is the longer bridle really important? Does it help if you deploy from full flight?
-
What is on the other side of the coin? A friend of mine got a premature opening during a freefly jump, because wrong kind of spandex was used for the BOC packet and the wind has blown his PC out. Result? Out of sequence deployment, cut-away, reserve ride. Of course not all the spandex BOC are the same

Eh. non-collapsible ??? I would not use that on that WL.
-
I don't think it would be a problem to learn how to fly F111/low cf canopies. It never knows when you have to fly a reserve. Prevous experience may save you from injuries.
-
Thanks. It seems be a hit. They don't have it on the page, but I've contacted them. They sell a cable like that.
-
You have just a single phase of flare with a F111/low cf canopy like Manta, they don't plane out. You have to execute 2 phased flare on hybrid/ZP canopies around WL 1.0 and over. For the record I had a broken fib on a Navigator220.

Is there Sony A/V cable available with L shaped plug? I'd like to jump with a bullet camera and a Sony HC32E camcorder. Sony's special 10 pole plugs sticks out 90 degrees from the camcorders's body, it does not look safe for th camcorder. Any idea, suggestion?

Sure! I don't want to teach by example.

Really? I have not really noticed such a thing. edit: spelling

Is that a similar trick to use one front riser and the opposite rear riser?
-
I had a 32" PC trailing behind me about 10 times. It made a big difference. I'm sure I deserve it if I have one. Let me think: I check it 3-4 time only by packing.
-
I'm sorry I've simplified a bit. So kill-line or not?
-
Really? I had some problem with my kill-line PC, it was not collapsing. I got really poor and shitty landing those time. It can me difference even on a 168. Speed is flare power, why do you and to pull an anchor after yourself?
-
There is a facebook on BASE fatality list.
-
Can you still pull the riser through them? Can you post some pictures about them?

Current regulation in Hungary: Using AAD is mandatory for FAI A,B license holders and students or under age of 18 or over the age of 50.

Thats interesting. Have I stated thats the right thing to do? I'm trying to remember if I ever jump there. 1. I can not remember everything, but it could be a wing suit jump from C207 and it was a freefly 2-3 way before me. 2. So I was the last. 3. Planes flying VFR and they were notified that skydivers in the airspace by our pilot during that jump.

Thanks!

I think the size of the load matters too.

Pictures please! Thanks.

Would a bit lighter mounting of newton sight help the situation? I know things won't break if they suppose to...

Have you used a special "swap"-bag for that? I had 30+ swaps so far. I made a swap bag for that. Risers are locked against the top of the bag and D-bag can not freely move inside the bag either. There is still a little risk of incorrect re-attachment, so I repacked it if I had time.
