Once again-Lightly loaded high performance canopy issues
phoenixlpr replied to peek's topic in Safety and Training
***Definitely. Line geometry sets trim. Quote Ok. True. I meant the position of the jumper under canopy and not specially wing's angle of attack. -
Accuracy is weird! I usually suck if I focus on that. I just get the very right place if I do it relaxed. It is mostly about planing and executing your pattern. Entry point should depend on the direction and the strength of the wind. Your pattern goes bigger if wind is calmer.

How about line geometry? From Altair: -
I give you a hint. GlidePath was reincarnated as Flight Concepts. So Cricket review can be under Flight Concepts Reserve.

I can hear stall horn on riding a C207T in summer when the winds a bit turbulent. I don't think it could be so relevant for pilot's evaluation. I found more problems with a pilot turning late to jump run. It was impossible to give effective correction anymore.

I had 1 ride with Cricket 147. See Gear review section.

Thanks for the lesson! It seems you know lot more than me. So what have I stated anything about any specific canopy with any specific wing load? -

What's Your Minimum Exit Altitude?

You may cause more problem than solve. I guess you might use more time to get stable than find and throw PC. Stable exit is more important than PC in the hand. -
Packing volume is depending on the air humidity too. A canopy stored in dry air packs bigger than other stored in more humid environment. It can be 1 cm difference on the closing loop.

I think its just a question of supply and demand and the quality of your work. I'm about to start flying camera next season. I don't think I can charge anyone or anyone would pay me anything. One "pro" promised me some digitals for 2 years....
