I'm in! But somehow my duck would have to be included.

Ha! You'd look pretty funny doing a Wiley Coyote with that in your hand instead of a handle. But you have to understand, mental illness is like cholesterol. There is the good kind and the bad. Without the good kind- less flavor to life. - Serge A. Storms

Best car I ever owned! It had even been slightly airborne during a return trip from skiing, and was fine. 400 000 km on it and the only reason it's not still running is the moose it hit. You are eating too much and your diet has too many Carbs in it... Carbs have that effect. Hyper-Proteic diets on the other hand wont have that effect, but youll feel an endless thirst. Watch that one, though. You don't want to go 'Atkins' and end up dopey due to your brain not getting it's carbs. Any time I've felt sluggish and had a need to nap after eating I've looked at my diet. Balance works for me. I try to eat as much protein as carbohydrates, not worrying about whether they are low or high glycemic index. Fats I don't give a shit about. They help to add flavour to things. And I'm active enough looking around for the remote to worry about lack of exercise. But you have to understand, mental illness is like cholesterol. Yeppers! I'm game if you are!! Will you go stand in line for the tickets??? 'Shell Of course! Mess was my favourite, always. I even had a shrine to him in the dorm days at Lister Hall. "Chip?" I suppose all of us cell phone owners are guilty of an indiscretionary pick up now and then. It's the chronic abusers that piss me off. I have a cell so that I can call others. Not so that they can get ahold of me, during a grocery shopping experience, and fill me in on how their Windows Update didn't download. Or their cat was so cute while barfing on the couch. Some things can wait. But you have to understand, mental illness is like cholesterol. There is the good kind and the bad. Without the good kind- less flavor to life. - Serge A. Storms

Pretty cool. I thought the same. The last time that song was in my mind was in a vid we made of an eight-way CRW dive where three of us were wrapped up. ETA: relevance to proximity flying. Sort of.

***An alternative is just misreading or ignoring the overall question in the first place. Since 'best' in "America's BEST living actor" Is capitalized, I wonder how many people just saw "....BEST....actor" and then clicked and saw the list and went for it. I suspect dead actors aren't listed here as this is generally a young crowd and speak mostly to last week's theator visits. Sure, it's satisfying, fun and self validating to think other people are stupid and comment on it. It's also just as cool (and self serving) to think people are careless and comment on it. And pretend that's any better...... I like to think we don't care where actors come from, just if they do a great job and don't get all wierd just because people know them. Wow. I also thought that the title of the thread meant American actors, since it was actually written in the title, and was quite surprised when you decided to jump on mr2mk1g for posting the obvious. I don't think there was any misreading or ignoring the overall question in the first place. It was all there in the title. People read the thread titles and expect some relevance, even in the Bonfire. You're right, the thread went off on a tangent from the title and discussed any actor (no actresses, since the thread wouldn't degenerate that far). I'm sure some people glanced at the title and posted. Perhaps a better title for this particular thread would have been 'THE BEST living actor' or something similar. And then no one would have to appear nationalistic. That doesn't excuse flaming a guy because he points it out. Whether threads go off the exact topic is not really the point. I've read through this entire thread and it is this one post that I am responding to that seemed to be shutting down someone's comment that was valid. That being said, I have to agree that Tom Hanks is one of the best, based on the diversity of roles he's had and how he convinces the moviegoer in what he's doing. What gets me is that when their phone rings they MUST pick up, regardless of the situation. Even in the middle of a conversation with someone in person. And these same people probably let the phone ring at home, thinking Oh, let the voice mail take it. But you have to understand, mental illness is like cholesterol. There is the good kind and the bad. I jumped a Jonathan 136 a few times. It was a dog. I was used to Lightning 126, Stiletto 135, Sabre 120. The Jonathan made me feel like I had to work extremely hard to land it. Heavy. Nice to see the Oil have a good one, especially with two of the top guys out right now. ETA: Minirant - Is Kevin Quinn (Sportsnet West in Canada) a fucking retard? He's doing that thing again where he makes up phrases to describe the play: "The Canucks are going for another home run pass!" (I decoded that to mean a stretch pass) It's almost as bad as his "flashing on the puck" comments from a couple of years back. But you have to understand, mental illness is like cholesterol. I'm impressed with the process and taste, for something that has three ingredients: ham, salt, and time. Send some over this way... But you have to understand, mental illness is like cholesterol. There is the good kind and the bad. Without the good kind- less flavor to life. - Serge A. Storms

Where did you actually process it? It's not 'Parma ham' unless it's made in Parma, Italy, and via specific methods. Maple Leaf of Canada found about that... Looks great though. I do like the stuff.
