What's the big deal?? If you were in India and talked about eating beef there would be the same commotion. It's a different culture. It's all food. It's also a slower speed issue (relatively speaking) and that, combined with having a hard deck (no docking after hitting 2000 feet) gives more room to deal with anything. An advantage to doing any kind of CRW is that you should have less fear around a larger number of canopies in the sky - kind of like driving on the interstate. Yeah, I golf. I try to split my time between jumping and golfing now. I've also done demos at golf courses (always fun) and bring my clubs out to the dz in case of wind holds - a good way to practice the short game out at the tuffet. Lots of fun instructing. Lots of fun training and "fun jumping". I miss the instructing a bit, but then when I go to jump now it's on my own sked. I started to instruct to learn more myself, and also to give back to the dz - there were many who helped me along when I first started and hopefully I've helped many others. The important thing is to set ground rules with the DZO so that if you don't want to "work" all day, you don't! But you have to understand, mental illness is like cholesterol.
