Well I havent jumped in 8 years and still have 2 months to go before my new gear arrives. Hows that for UN-current? I COULD go now if I wanted to rent gear, but after forking out for a brand new rig, I'll be damned if I'm gonna rent gear

Reviews would seem to indicate a sound enough canopy but nothing particularly noteworthy. I didnt find anything negative either. Sounds like a Volvo to me This seems to be priced a bit lower than some of the more popular canopies but is still too expensive for me to consider wiping my ass with it

I dont know, but I wouldnt mind seeing them seperate the Vector 3 and the more recent and improved Vector 3 M-Series. The current reviews include both and all the bad reviews concern the earlier Vector 3. This could lead one to NOT choose this exellent product based on outdated, irrelevant, and even incorrect information.

at 120 mph a jump from 11,000 ft to the ground would take 66 seconds. So after that 65 second freefall he still had 1 whole second to whip it out at 300 ft I usually try to open a little higher than that myself but I'm not very experienced

Its certainly practical to have it inspected before buying. I wouldnt suggest doing it any other way. Have the seller ship it to your rigger for inspection BEFORE you send money. Lots of riggers will be willing to be the middle guy here. If the seller takes issue with having it inspected first he may have something to hide.

Is this a gag? Forget for a moment how crazy it would be to forget to put on a rig and go all the way to altitide and jump while still not noticing it, but how the hell could all the other jumpers on the load fail to notice that the guy had no rig on?
