  1. Fate: no Chance: Yes Consequence (in the sense that you have used it): no Chance, if you believe it is the big winner here, negates both fate and consequence.
  2. His reply wasnt condescending so much as it was sarcastic. Well aimed too. Of course Ivans comment made for a rather easy target. Myself, I couldnt get through a single day without it. Sarcasm is a beautiful thing.
  3. I call mine "My car" I dont name body parts either.
  4. It's available in lots of places. I got it from Paragear a few months ago...
  5. "All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be" If you change the past, you will change who you are now. I like who I am, so I wouldnt change a thing. Especially not the painful things.
  6. 1969 Chevy Nova with a 230 CI straight 6 and "3 on the Tree" The whole car, including the wheels, was "flat chevy crange" Oh my god it was hideous
  7. Yeah! What she said! You all suck. (except for the 40+ crew) I'm also 40. I'm up to 74 jumps though and I'm in better physical shape than most folks in their 20's
  8. That makes more sense :-) Congrats on your A!
  9. Sheesh, have the license numbers gotten that high? Mine is 17647. That would imply that 172,438 people have become licensed since I got mine. That seems a tad high
  10. I never gave a crap about football to begin with. When I quit drinking, the Super Bowl ceased to have any meaning at all. You forgot the "The super what?" poll option
  11. I think it's gonna get crowded here in the weenie basket. No problem! Thats more room for me in the plane
  12. I hear and feel for all the folks that are stuck due to financial reasons. I lived that hell for 14 years till I finally was able to buy my own equipment and had enough money to jump regularly. This only became a reality in Nov. and I'm loving every minute. I'm there almost every weekend to make at least 2 jumps. Numbers are slowly starting to climb If you hang in there guys, ity'll get better. Be strong and dont quit on your dreams!!! I made 2 last Saturday and it was -15 F. at altitude. For those of you that said it is too cold, yer a bunch of weenies

  14. Too expensive to retrieve. Shuttle wasnt designed to carry that much payload back to the earths surface. They will simply let its orbit decay till it falls into the atmosphere.
  15. You actually gotta jump that rig, Ivan!
  16. I just took the raft and went sailing. That family will just have to take care of itself
  17. Guns dont kill people, bullets do. We need bullet control, not gun control!
  18. Same thing happened to me, only they were replaced with person shaped holes in the air that I have to keep throwing money into.
  19. Spectre will likely give you a more comfy opening than the Sabre from what I have heard.
  20. You could always call in sick on a good weather day to get back in the saddle rather than waiting for the right weekend. Of course I have NEVER blown off work to go skydiving and probably nobody else here has either It IS an option though
  21. I started when I was 13 and kept going full speed till I was 32 Quit that nonsense 8 years ago now. Dont miss it
  22. I dont think the brand matters nearly as much as the tecnique. tecnique = let the damn thing dry completely before putting your big fat fingers all over it or applying subsequent coats of paint. I learned this the hard way on my first attempt. I actually used Testors brand primer, and brush-on enamel. Testors is a brand used primarily by hobbiests for painting models etc. You can find this in any hobby shop. I used Krylon Acrylic Crystal Clear gloss coat . Most hardware stores carry this. Once again, let things dry COMPLETELY. Especially enamel coats before applying Acrylic laquer. The acrylic makes the enamel bubble up oddly if its not completely dry.
