They did not try because their air defense missiles would have fared as well as their tanks did against US hardware. Maybe. You being a civilian I can understand your confusion but a 777 is not a military aircraft. A 777 is large and flies at a high altitude. A cruise missile is small and flies at a low altitude.

The increase in the polar bear population is just one of a long list of failed predictions by global warming alarmist. They predicted fewer polar bears, we have more. They predicted more hurricanes, we have fewer. They predicted less food production, we have more. They predicted desertification, we got global greening. They predicted more floods, droughts, wildfires, tropical disease, tornadoes, severe storms... there is no statistically significant change. I could go on and on but you get. The point....I hope.

As it should be, economics over ideology. As prices continue to drop and as battery technology improves solar will become more feasible for more applications. It may even double to 2% electric generation in the US.
