  1. Or may not be, climate change is mysterious and powerful. According to Al Gore, climate Change caused Brexit, recent scholarly articles have claimed that climate change may create 10 foot high lizards and horses the size of bunnies.
  2. Climate change? Carbon monoxide is good for plants AND people. And it was cold today, so there's no warming. Who said anything about creationism, anti-vaxxing, flat earthers, smoking or carbon monoxide? The title of the thread is about carbon dioxide. Your persistent reliance on straw-man arguments speaks volumes.
  3. Mussolini wasn't a Nazi either. No he was a progressive/liberal "H. G. Wells, one of the most influential progressives of the 20th century, said in 1932 that progressives must become “liberal fascists” and “enlightened Nazis.” Regarding totalitarianism, he stated: “I have never been able to escape altogether from its relentless logic.” Calling for a “‘Phoenix Rebirth’ of Liberalism” under the umbrella of “Liberal Fascism,” Wells said: “I am asking for a Liberal Fascisti, for enlightened Nazis.”"
  4. And smoking don't forget about smoking because Bill says that catastrophic anthropogenic global warming is a lot like smoking.
  5. Bill you should have taken a few more gen ed courses in college. We did not evolve from monkeys. http://www.sci-news.com/othersciences/anthropology/science-homo-pan-last-common-ancestor-03220.html
  6. The plants are sucking it up before it even reaches the sea. That is why deserts are retreating and Key West is still with us.
  7. I love the contrast between the "impacts me"and the "impacts others" graphs. No one feels they are being personally impacted by climate change but they are sure that everyone else is.
  8. Physics is ALWAYS in control. It's the law. One of my favorite skydive t-shirts Gravity, it's not just a good idea, it's the LAW!
  9. If the water gets so bad, from unrestricted fracking etc. Like the Flint Mich. situation. The Flint water problem was caused by unrestricted fracking???
  10. Wow that is really going to make a mark in a 19 trillion dollar economy. Have fun skydiving in the Great White North, and say hi to Terrace and Philip for me.
  11. "The White House on Thursday defended a proposal to slash federal funding for climate change programs, calling it “a waste of your money.” “I think the president was fairly straightforward on that: We’re not spending money on that anymore,” Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney said at a White House briefing on Thursday." Yay!!!
  12. Ummm - it shows how fact-resistant YOU are. I think you mean alternative-fact-resistant.
  13. Shows you just how futile government distortion of the market is. Goal: use less fuel Outcome: use more fuel, kill people
  14. I don't need the government's help, I can decide for myself. http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2010/04/death_by_cafe_standards.html "The new regulations did accomplish one thing -- they killed drivers and passengers in large numbers. By lightening cars and removing material, auto companies were inadvertently discarding the armor that protected motorists in the event of a crash. Similarly, the compressed new models lacked space for impact forces to attenuate before causing damage and injury. Drivers in lightweight cars were as much as twelve times more likely to die in a crash."
  15. Also calls for the privatization of Air Traffic Control. Eliminates Sea Grant program. no more subsidies for flights to rural airports no more funding for PBS and NPR Eliminates National Endowment for the Arts Eliminates National Endowment for the Humanities Eliminates funding for National Historic Sites. Just so you can spend more on bombs and walls. Yup #WINNING I am in favor of large cuts to the Pentagon as well. The greatest threat to the U.S. is not global warming or ISIS, it is our debt.
  16. Who should decide whether I drive a F-150 or a Prius. I believe the individual should have the freedom to choose.
  17. "The budget blueprint, released on Thursday, provides $5.7 billion for the EPA, down from $8.3 billion. The budget “discontinues” $100 million in funding for several climate change programs within the agency, including enforcement for a major Obama-era climate regulation, climate change research and international climate change support." It is going to be hard for busybody bureaucrats to regulate mud puddles on private property with no money! #WINNING!
  18. OMG all of that melting sea ice will surely seal the fate of coastal communities across the globe!!! Hair on fire, hair on fire. It hasn't been this awful since 1928! If you say so. I'd be more concerned about the melting glaciers, since they actually do affect sea level. From your article "In November, sea ice in the Arctic and Antarctic was at record low levels for this time of year due to climate change. The more the ice melts, the higher global sea levels will rise." As we all (should) know, sea ice has no impact on sea levels. Knowing your scientific world view is informed by CNN explains a lot. I suppose you subscribe to USA Today as well.
  19. OMG all of that melting sea ice will surely seal the fate of coastal communities across the globe!!! Hair on fire, hair on fire. It hasn't been this awful since 1928!
  20. What about smoking Bill, what about smoking? Usually your straw man constructs involve tobacco.
  21. With regard to "Trumpcare" the R's should try and fail to repeal/replace/improve Obamacare, tell their base that they did their best but those rascally Dems would not cooperate. That puts the hot potato back into the laps of Schumer and company. Obamacare continues to collapse and Dems will retain ownership.
