Biden canceled the Keystone pipeline, green lighted Russia’s pipeline, ended oil and gas leases on federal land and is now imploring OPEC to produce more oil. Can someone please explain how this makes sense?

The withdrawal could have taken place when the mountain passes and Taliban strongholds were snowbound and bought the time necessary to complete our withdrawal in a less chaotic manner than we are witnessing now.

I don’t know why they didn’t wait until the end of “fighting season” to initiate the withdrawal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afghanistan_fighting_season The failure to appropriately react to the changes on the ground is unforgivable.

Thank you for posting this. I was in a “time out” for the last month and unable to post. As you so generously illustrated, the pause continues. Despite record levels of CO2 the climate stubbornly refuses to warm. The variance you noticed is because the “preview” was satellite data measuring the lower atmosphere and did not include ocean data. BTW your “no attribution” comment was priceless as it is in full view of “UHA Satellite-Based Temperature of the Global Lower Atmosphere (Version 6.0)” AKA attribution Thanks again, you are the gift that keeps on giving.

FIFY Really you have to be delusional to think that renewables are the driving force behind the reduction of coal use in the US. Math tells us that it is natural gas.

I understand your frustration, folks don’t like it when their world view is threatened. From systemic racism and man made climate change to the Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny, it upsets people when these notions are challenged.

What is it about Chicago that makes it so prone to gun violence? If it were just the guns one would think Wisconsin would have the same problem. We have guns everywhere here in central PA including lots of MSRs (assault rifles to you lefties) yet we have no real issue with gun violence.
