    Then he pulled the country out of recession. If anyone were to blame for the recession it was largely Democrat governors who shut down their states. Close California, New York, Illinois, Michigan and California, it guarantees a recession.

    What recession? I googled “last recession” and the Trump recession is curiously missing. The last recession was from December 2007 through June 2009. ‘You may have your own opinion but you don’t get to make up your own facts’

    Trump inherited a good economy and made it better, a black swan event set us back, but by the time Biden took over, the economy was growing and folks were going back to work. (If you Google “last recession” the COVID downturn doesn’t register as a recession) Biden and the Ds took a quickly recovering economy and put it on meth, causing massive inflation and hurting millions of folks.

    He is just the devil we know, we arguably did better during the Trump administration, (full employment low inflation, low interest rates no new wars no invasion of our southern border and NATO members starting to pull their weight). Yes he is an idiot but so is Biden and Harris even more so. He is a national embarrassment, horrible person and a megalomaniac. That said I am looking at policy not personality. We will survive whichever of the two morons who ends up occupying the White House.

    The vast majority of Americans never experienced the inflation inflicted by Bidenomics. Some of us more seasoned folks remember the inflation/stagflation inflicted by Carternomics, but we are a shrinking minority.

    So there was no way to target the spending? I know the exchange student my folks sponsored liked the $2000 she got, having graduated and no longer living in the US, but I fail to see how it helped anyone living here.
