The first half stats show similar possession and yardage. It wasn't a bad game until the 2nd half. Oh well, that's what happens when a team's defense folds on you. You know, if they would start using cheerleaders instead of yell leaders, that might be a motivating factor that keeps the game going. I mean, what football player would rather see guys cheering for them instead of hot, sexy cheerleaders cheering for them? Cals cheerleaders? Not as talented as, say, DCCs, but they are good looking. Maybe bitchy and feminist like most California girls, but good looking nevertheless. That could be a motivating factor.

At least their fans stayed in the stadium to the last minute, they say Aggies stick around till the end of the game no matter what. They didnt seem to happy though. Oh well, hope they find something more positive during their stay in San Diego, weather here sucks right now, cold and damp and the flu is going around. Not a good time to be in SD.

Awesome, it must have been a pretty wild adventure standing on the continent of Antartica for the first time, something not many get to do in their lifetime. I also have had the idea of going there, years from now, thats one of my lifelong dreams to go there. Maybe you can PM me some tips on how you got there, point of departure, how much it cost, how cold it was, what time of year you went, ect. If you have any more pics Id like to see them. Well, looks like Cal didnt want to give any leeway at all to the poor Aggies, came all the way to San Diego just to get embarrasingly slaughtered by Cal who didnt give them an inch on the field even at the end of the 4th. After it was all over, I heard several references to Cals' loss in 2004 against TTU, evidently this was an act of revenge taken out against the Aggies because of the TTU loss two years ago. I dont know, around here it doesnt seem to matter if they are Aggies or Red Raiders, theyre all from Texas and Cal has evened the score (and then some). And TTU? Well, I graduated from there so I have mixed feelings on that one. If they are going to slaughter Texas, Id rather it be the Aggies and not my own school. Way to go Cal!!!!!

This is a great thread, havent been skydiving for a while but its got the things you need to know. A long time ago, when I made the first jumps at Marana, AZ, I was told that if the radio goes out to fly the canopy in at half brakes. Even then, with what limited knowledge I had, I thought this was a bad idea, just had a bad feeling about it. I had quit skydiving because of my own limited knowledge, and the poor atmosphere of what I encoutered in skydiving instructors and schools. This is not a generalization of skydiving instructors, just the ones I encountered, which gave me a dim view of the sport and made things seem more like you were gambling with your life (from not knowing what to do in a situation). I can tell you, your kind of information and attitude towards skydiving would have kept me in the air a lot longer. Hope to read more of your articles

Its pretty common for people in LA to roomate up since the rent is so expensive there. You shouldnt have a hard time finding a roomate if youre looking for one, but couldnt tell you what evenues to look. Start with the internet, rommates.com, ect. Hotels there have become very expensive in the last few years, even the cheapest ones are going for 100 bucks a night. Used to be affordable and not that expensive at one time. Sportsmans Lodge = 150/night, used to be 70/night.

Yes, youre right, and that is exactly what they are attempting to do with their training program, which is mostly nothing but overpriced crap. Its great to have a contract with MTM, but WITHOUT J Cassablancas training program. See, they know that theere is a chance that you will not find work, so they want to guarantee themselves something out of it if you dont. It is not lilely they would be profitable taking in people in open calls, so without charging an actual up front fee (which is illegal for licensed agencies), they cleverly get it by marketing their training program to those they want to sign up. But all they can do is try to sell it. You dont have to buy it, however, they can require you to get trained to acceptable limits before you sign. So it will still cost you something. But paying it to them is a conflict of interest, because it is then nothing more than a hidden up front fee. And I think thier training is crap anyway, or at least most of it. They are not as bad as some of them, they come right out and say there is no guarantees, that you may not find work at all, that it is difficult to get through auditions, ect. Looks like they select certain people they want to sign up, but ofcourse they want you to take their training if they can sell it to you. Those they dont select can take thier training anyway, hell anyone with a buck can do that, period. They WILL prey on those who dont know how things work, within legal limits, or they can lose their license. They are on the BBB in satisfactory status and are licensed as a talent agency, but that doesnt mean they are legit, just legal. Im getting training and photo shoots elsewhere, just give me my MTM contract. Ive got the traiing at NYFA, havent found a photographer yet that I liked. The last one I talked to does film shoots in natural light, in other words...outside. In the backyard of some house. Well, ofcourse, its a "natural light" film shoot, produces higher quality. Great excuse when you cant afford a studio. Dammit these scams...comming out of my ears!!!! Cant even find a decent photographer without digging through the BS.
