  2. I was rocking my purple RWS shirt yesterday. Still thinking back to the new South African packer, Egon, we picked up at SFO 5 years ago, that was the "chippiest" new TM that we ever saw get a rating, that became a very beloved guy worldwide in the sport. You are missed broo! Blog Clicky
  3. I get in on the Wednesday morning. You? Blog Clicky
  4. Thanks to all who competed and helped out in this season's Canopy Piloting Circuit. For a few of us it was our first time competing, and for me, first time organizing as well. We had great meets, judges, and VERY cooperative weather. Adam Teeling won meet #5, and there were only 28 points between 2nd and 4th places. Adam Teeling - 441 Points Rob Pooley - 338 Points Andy De Mars - 323 Points Connie Krusi - 310 Points Renaud Roland-Hubert - 74 Points Adam also won for the season with 3 first-place finishes out of the five. I'm waiting for Jim to help me clarify the formula for the rest of the places. For now, it's too close to call. When I get the answer, I'll post the results. Connie, Rob, Adam, and I will now be competing in the CPC championships in Colorado in three weeks. Let's get some more swoopers for next year! See you at the NorCal Classic. Blog Clicky
  5. The final Canopy Piloting Circuit comp of the year will be in Byron this Saturday, 7/22, at 10am. Please let me know if anyone will be able to help judge. Also a headcount of who will be competing would be fantasic as well. Thanks to all that have helped out all season... we just need you for one more! Same bit as usual: $100 cash. Be on time. Any 9-cell pilots that want to compete in the upcoming NorCal Classic should use this opportunity, as well. You know who you are! Andy De Mars Blog Clicky

  10. Not sure. I think "walkers" count as added weight. We are setting up a heavyweight division for the tracking contest, though! Just a thought! Blog Clicky
  11. Just a quick reminder, the 4th CPC will be this Saturday, 7/1 @ Davis. We will be wheels up by 10am. I will set up the course either Friday afternoon, or early Saturday morning, depending on interest and availability. As usual we will need judges, tripod, cameras and the like. Be on time with cash on hand. You all know the rest. It's only supposed to be in the mid-90's, so bring a sweater. I spoke to Bob, and we will be doing the NorCal Classic later in the year (Oct/Nov). There will be a crossbraced, as well as a 9-cell division. There will be cash prizes, medals, and a trophy. More info to follow laster. Also, I am thinking of renting an RV for the trek to Colorado for the CPC championships. Let me know if you're interested. Blog Clicky

  19. Well said. And I rarely ever agree with Gareth as well. My first friend in Byron. We had many fun jumps and funnier nights over the past few years. All over NorCal, Rantoul & others. She has many friends who love her dearly. She will be remembered for who she was, not what happened. She was SO happy to be back in the air. Blue skies, Fo-Fannon. You'll be missed. Blog Clicky

  21. Just stuck in "No-mans-land". There's LOTS of ways to get a zero in Accuracy. I found two on Saturday... And yes, they are now both verbs, but I'd much rather Vertical than Femur! Blog Clicky
