you got that right bro. Well that explains my confusion with the mapquest picture. I was gonna print out a satellite photo for NWFlyer to look at beforehand. Mapquest found the DZ's address for me, but based on the size of that patch of grass and the potential rotors from the trees in the attached picture, I figured there was probably another landing area somewhere else on the airport, at least for students. Sorry dude, I dont mean you're slime or that anyone that's ever cheated is. What I mean is that people do make mistakes. I made them when I was young and learned from them. We're human and not perfect. What I have a problem with is people that don't learn from their mistakes and just keep doing it over and over and hurting people. It's like they just don't care that they've ruined someone on the inside. Sure we heal but that takes time and in the meantime we suffer all sorts of self doubt. Hi Rosa! Welcome back. Yeah I had spine surgery almost 2 weeks ago. I've been suffering from nasty neck and back pain that was radiating down my arms from a herniated disk. I had a disk removed and a titanium cage put in at C-7 which is upper back, lower neck area. They fused above and below as well. This all stemmed from a car accident many years ago and then a few other things like a skateboarding flop and a really hard opening. I think it just all adds up. Unfortunately recovery is slow going. I went to work Monday all day and I over did it a little bit. Then I worked yesterday for a half day and came home because I was really hurting. I decided to take today off. I can't skydive for 6 months and I'm probably out from BASE jumping for 9 months to a year except maybe some slider up stuff. It's a real bummer now but the good news is that hopefully when I'm all healed up I wont be in pain anymore and I can go on with my life. I'd rather give up a year of extreme fun and have the rest of my life to enjoy it than to keep living in pain. Plus think of all the money I'm saving from not jumping! Whoo hoo I can pay off my credit cards! So in the long run this is a very good thing but it sucks right now. Luckily I have some great friends on this website that check in on me and send me happy thoughts and good vibes.
