Well, you could try finding and touching your emergency handles in freefall. They're not always where you'd think they should be, or where they were on the ride up in the plane. Don't pull them, of course. Just find & touch 'em. And you can always work on your tracking. Just make sure you're tracking perpendicular to the line of flight, so you don't fly into somebody else's airspace. Everyone could always be a better tracker ! Last month, Corliss filed a $30 million counterclaim, alleging unlawful imprisonment, defamation of character, emotional distress and loss of income. I see this as the best defense being a good offense. The fuckers sued him, so fight fire with fire and sue the bastards right back. Your assumption is base on you're being an American woman who is (so far) free to choose. Women in Africa have no choice. Yeah, I heard some bitch from the DC City Hall making some lame ass excuse about no semi-automatic pistols either. I'm not a gun owner (my right to choose), but I am familiar enough with semi's to know that you have to chamber the first round and that they have a grip safety, two features revolvers don't have. I have always believed that a semi is SAFER than a revolver. And either kind of pistol is going to shoot you just as dead with one or two shots. Sorry to hear this news. I can't say I liked the guy, or his combative style in the Bush White House. But he was only a year older than me and I know from losing a brother to cancer how hard it is. NPR did a very nice piece on him yesterday morning - including some tapes of him jamming to the blues on his flute. (He was also a NPR commentator in the early nineties and NPR replayed one of more scathing commentaries about the Clinton White House resembling a college campus during finals week.) Hmmm, he's had Dick Cheney delete six pages of Congressional testimony from the CDC about the public health problems caused by global warming, because they "doubted the accuracy of the science". Old Dick Cheney sure is an authority on the science of public health - and he is too, if he can do this and get away with it. Then our Boy George has publicly anounced he's dropping the whole global warming mess into his successor's lap and washing his hands of 7 1/2 years of utter neglect and obstruction on the issue. He already anounced last year that he was doing much the same thing with the war in Iraq. However, this is understandable, as anything resembling work might interfere with his planned trip to the Olympic opening ceremonies in Beijing. Maybe the Chinese will let him throw out the first discus.... And finally, his parting remark at the G8 summit to his fellow heads of state, "Farewell from the world's number one polluter", after which he threw a few punches in the air. What a chump, doesn't he even realize we're number 2, after China ? No end of surprises with this old boy. What's next, a porn film with Nancy Reagan ? Stay tuned.... But as for an enforceable contempt citation, that's not going to happen. There are only 191 days left to this administration (thank God almighty) and Rove can certainly hire the caliber of legal firepower to keep his heinie out of stir for six more months.
