I am self-employed and have been trying to get an individual medical policy but as I suspected, skydiving is getting me denied. Do any of y'all have a company that I should look into other than Blue Cross Blue Shield and Humana? I am tempted to just go without, but Wm and I want to have a baby some day and I would like to at least give birth in a hospital rather than have him boil water and get some towels. ..................................................................... A big pot of jambalaya with andouille sausage (it's easy to make and cheap) and a variety of beers like Abita Purple Haze, Shiner Bock, Blue Moon with orange slices, Pacifico with lime slices, and Yuengling. Plenty of sodas, ritz bits peanut butter crackers, popcorn, mixed nuts, and cookies. You can also go the frozen appetizer route and get some calamari and crab rangoon tasties. Bob Sauce is easy to make for a tortilla chip dip (Velvetta, rotel tomato can, ground beef, sour cream, and chopped green onion). He is doing a lot better. He still has memory problems and is still working on his speech, vocabulary and some basics of living. He did cook something last night with my help and has been doing little chores around the house. He has a lot of fine tuning to do and an administrator of psycological treatment centers told me that his brain functions at about the equivalent of a teenager. With that, I feel he has a lot of improvement ahead of him and that he may come back to his full self again. Thanks for asking. ..................................................................... I hate that I'm not going to be there. I have a new job and vacation hasn't kicked in, yet. Wm and I also have a new house that needs a lot of work and I'm not quite ready to leave Wm alone just yet. Upon hearing of the death of Brooke's dad from Hurricane Katrina, I have received numerous requests for her address so flowers can be sent. As Brooke put today - she does not want flowers. But she does want something.... "I absolutely do not want flowers. I would like to take that energy on sending me flowers and transfer it to gathering clothes for people who lost everything. TK Hayes and I teamed up to get immediate cash relief to skydivers that were rendered homeless due to Hurricane Katrina. For every jump made on September 3 and 4, $1 went to victims totaling $700. In addition, a Jump for the Cause raffle raised $250, dinners sold raised $75 and individual jumpers contributed $637 for a staggering $1662 total for the entire weekend.
