Good point. I remember Moby being so proud that he bought the most eco-friendly refridgerator and had it shipped over many continents to his house. I thought to myself, "ummm, how much fuel did those trucks and ships gobble up to save you $30.00 per year?" If you want more info on Biota, their website is www.biotaspringwater.com. They have an extensive Q&A page and tons of information about their processing, packaging, etc. edited to add: even if everything they do isn't eco-friendly, at least it is a start. I would love for Coca-Cola, Pepsi and the likes to start using corn-made plastic bottles.

Years ago, a friend of mine helped up-start this company and I finally found Biota water in a store near me. It is amazing because they make their plastic bottles out of corn, which biodegrades in a landfill in 80 days. I love buying things that are earth-friendly, so I wanted to share this with others that like doing the same. ..................................................................... Sweet! I pinned a shamrock to my shirt this morning. I don't think they do much of that in Ireland anymore, bob.dino may know. Since I stated one of his big pet peeves of being Irish when I was born in America - I guess I have no rights to my heritage, now. I know I have never been to Ireland and am American through-and-through, but I at least care enough about the sacrifices my ancestors gave for me to have what I do today. My poor family - starving to death in Ireland, got on a boat, arrived in America, and shoveled a path for me. May be one day, I'll get to visit Northern Ireland, where my family came from - if they can stop fighting long enough to make it safe.
