We filmed this weekend and it was fantastic. We set up fake skydiving scenes where we were talking to each other in freefall about the job, at the begining of the show there is a fake landing scene and I submitted footage of William and me really skydiving. Plus, of course, they have tunnel footage of William and his buddy Alex. As for who was there, here's the breakdown: * Andrew the carpenter - very cute, very smart, very talented. He also owns his own contractor company in Buffalo, NY just in case anyone needs an addition put on their house or cabinets made. He is VERY good!!!! * Leslie the seamstress - Coming out with a book soon. She is in the process of writing it. She is married (sorry dudes) and is very sweet. * Mark Montano the designer - hilarious and a complete Diva (but not overwhelming). He has a design book coming out in August and is writing a Designing for Dummies book as we speak. * Evan the host - YES, he was a skydiver and loves the sport. He gave up skydiving for paragliding but his busy travel schedule keeps him from enjoying it too much. He actually thought about buying an Airstream and loading up his gear to travel the country. So, you may see him around. He is also working on a music deal in Nashville, so look for him there. As for the Airstream - it looks great. The theme was airliner/dropzone so the inside looks like a jet complete with two leather recliner airliner chairs. Very plush. The color palet was light blue, slate blue and brown. Nice, nice, nice. If anyone will be out at Gold Coast, we will have it out there. Other than that - I will update y'all with an air date (late March/early April). Oh, and William loved it!!! ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

Udate Some one tried to break into the Airstream last night and the door was jammed shut so the crew had to go through the window to get in. Murhys Law at its best. Also The comuter I am on has no use of some letters and characters on the right side of the keyboard so that is why there are some missing letters.... Crazy, huh ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

I know William, my husband, won't see this so, I am going to bring this out in the open.... A few months back, William and I purchased a 1974 Airstream Overlander to remodel as our DZ home. I contacted the folks on While You Were Out to surprise him and got the show!!!! On top of that, they needed to send him somewhere for the two days, so I convinced them to send him to the tunnel in Orlando. Not only are they going to remodel our Airstream, but they gave William and his buddy Alex (our accomplice) 60 minutes of tunnel time!!! Can you believe it????? Filming is this weekend and it should air late March early April. Expect to see many skydiving and tunnel shots in the show. Wish me luck and pray that they don't paint it in cheetah print. ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

I'll be there. I hear Trey at Skydive Hotlanta may bring his King Air, too. What fun!!! Our comfortable, cushiony Otter paired up with Trey's zippy, disco-mania King Air. I hope everyone comes to jump!!!!! ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

I did that - I registered for items that were $3 because not everyone can afford or want to give the $200 coffee maker. There are actually a lot of items on my registry that are under $20. I think it is rude to register for expensive items, only. ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

Target sucks when it comes to returning items on your registry. You can only return up to $200 worth of items without a receipt and it must be on your registry. SO, if people buy you stuff not on your registry and you want to exchange it for stuff on your registry and they didn't include a gift receipt, which no one does, forget it. Bed, Bath and Beyond has been a dream during William's and my registry. Target has cockamamie rules. For more Target bashing, see my thread. ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

Dude - I don't know. I never include a gift receipt with my gifts because I think my gifts are so superior and people will want them. I think some of y'all are missing the point. It shouldn't matter if a receipt is given or not. This issue is about a customer service effort, not designed to hurt the retailer, where loss prevention and profit margins are accounted for through middleman costs. It's simple. LOTS of other retailers practice this. And the ones that say "All sales are final, no returns or exchanges" are usually on sale items that are being sold at or just above cost. ..................................................................... He bought it in Shreveport and out of all the retailers there, Target is the only one who carries the item. Deductive reasoning. :o) ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

Right on. And amazingly, they make a profit. ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

And not only that, but included in the retail mark-up, sadly, are costs for loss and loss prevention. Don't think for one moment that a large retailer will succumb to theft. ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

What do you think a full retail price includes? It's middleman costs. This is what Target is in the business of doing - taking manufactured goods and selling them for the manufacturer at a profit. Along with the profit comes responsibility. ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

My gripe and my request of them was neither unusual nor designed to make them lose money. Merchandise credit would have sufficed; something that is done at countless other more-profitable retailers. ..................................................................... Target (TGT) Financials: PERIOD ENDING 31-Jan-04 Total Revenue $48,163,000 Cost of Revenue $31,790,000 Gross Profit $16,373,000 Ummm - I don't see where Target is losing money. Plus, excellent customer service has been proven to increase sales, which it looks like they need since their stock has plummetted this year. Also, when merchandise credit is given, a lot of times a person will buy over what their credit was for equating additional sales. I know that Target is not at complete fault, but I see a lot of room for improvement rather than having a knee-jerk reactionary return policy based on a few theiving bad apples. Their products are excellent, their marketing is superior, but they are having a problem delivering on the service side - something vital to their business.

If you have ever been in a situation where a gift is a duplicate of something you already have or just something you can't use, think that someone else you are buying a gift for may experience the same thing. So, do not buy them anything at Target!!! If you want to return the item, you must have a receipt - you cannot even return the item for store credit to purchase other items. Nothing. Nada. You are stuck with it because no one wants to ask a gift-giver for the receipt so they can return the item - that's rude. Even when the item is broken due to the manufacturer - forget it. You are now the proud owner of a defect unless you want to contact the manufacturer. Yep, that happened to me, too. I was told to contact Memorex even though I bought the item at Target. Target has awesome merchandise but their return policy makes their poor customer service employees some of the most hated folks on the planet. I feel sorry for those guys. I have heard multiple people on multiple occasions yelling at them out of frustration because of their ridiculous return policy. Anyone else experience this????? ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

William and I have talked about this at length. I think it comes down to social fears. People think that the folks in the left lane are cooler and the right lane people are geeks because they have a tendency to drive "slower" (actualy they drive at a more stable speed.) SO, they hang out with the popular crowd in the left lane when they belong with the goobers in the right lane. I'm an independent girl, so I pass in the left lane and drive in the right lane. ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M

* over half Scottish * German * Welsh * Cherokee Indian * strongly suggested that there may be West African, but I'm not positive. What I have noticed about this list is that the Scots, Irish and Germans are some breeding MFs. So many of us share those. ..................................................................... The folks who posted "call the police" are right because you need to get this on record. People can snap and get violent. I know you are probably a tough guy and feel you can protect yourself against a wee girl, but you will have a hard time protecting yourself from a flying bullet. This chick needs help and has crossed the crazy line a long time ago. ..................................................................... PMS#28, Pelogrande Rodriguez#1074 My Pink M
