Don't take it too hard. Just laugh it off. If you can't laugh at yourself, then it only make it more fun for others to torment you. Remember - everyone bites it no matter how many jumps they have. I saw a few very experienced jumpers slide in on their bums this past weekend. Because they weren't hurt, except for their egos, we pointed and laughed. It's all out of love.

Even though someone may have one trillion jumps more than me, I am a well-rounded, intelligent adult and expect to be addressed as one. I also readily admit that I don't know jack about this sport and look up to and listen carefully to my elders (use of word does not refer to age but experience). As a thinking and reasoning adult, I also do not listen to isolated opinions, but seek information from the masses of more experienced jumpers so I can put together a well-informed decision. You will not see the low-jump-number swagger from me as I walk around the DZ.

For those medical folks, I have been interested in finding out if race has to do with blood type. I noticed on the chart that only 11% of caucasians have my blood type (B+), but what race holds the majority of B+ blood? I saw that 20% of African Americans have my blood type. Just curious for genetic reasons. I am half Irish and half mutt including German, Cherokee, Welsh, and god knows what else. .....................................................................
