Hard to believe, but it seems that Gia and you have the same birthday! Happy birthday Dave!
-
Aww...that is so sweet. Thank you, Squeak.

Oh Willem, she is beautiful. A huge congratulations to you and to your wife! Much love from me to your little Anmarie.

You get one wish for the New Year. What is it?
VanillaSkyGirl replied to ntrprnr's topic in The Bonfire
I have two wishes. One wish is that the people whom I love remain healthy and happy. I also wish that I can make a difference this year...more charity fundraising. I was alos hoping to do more hands-on community service work with homeless, cancer patients (try to give a marrow donation?), etc. Anyway, I'm heading back to bed. I have such a horrid flu virus. -
Oh my, straight As...that's so wonderful! Congratulations, Michele!

The gifts that are unexpected are the best. I adore giving and getting gifts. This year was no exception. One gift that stands out in my mind was from last year...it was not a Christmas gift, either. I wanted to do something special for my friend Darcy's birthday, so I rounded up $$$ from myself and her friends. We bought my friend Darcy a slot in tunnel league (yes, we bought her tunnel time) for her birthday. It was after a full day of jumping. Then, we all celebrated by partying with her in the Bombshelter. We closed down the place and took the party to our hotel rooms. It was a great day!

Anyone gonna be at Perris Valley tomorrow (December 21, 2006)?
VanillaSkyGirl replied to Chizazz's topic in The Bonfire
Cool, then I hope to see you at Elsinore. About the rest of the week/weekend...I cannot make it because I am very busy with holiday commitments with family/loved ones. I do plan to jump at least once next week or weekend during Perris' holiday boogie. It seems like a really good time, and I miss the Perris peeps! -
Have a wonderful and happy birthday week, Mike! xoxox ~Rosa

Andrea, you looked adorable! Congratulations on being chosen to do that segment. It was really fun to watch. Btw, that foot bath looked wonderful. (Bethany and I sure could have used it after our walk. ) I'll bet that your feet looked and even smelled really nice after that.

I also want to be close to my baby nieces and grandmother. You guys have a great time, and I'm wishing you all lots of great jumps and a wonderful boogie! P.S. I will be going to Perris' boogie for a couple of days, if anyone is heading there, as well. -
Sweet dreams, lovely!

Perfect timing...I was just checking in and will be logging right off. I was thinking of you, though. I hope that you had a wonderful time tonight, Bethany. It sounded like fun!

The pictures of your son are adorable. I agree...his hair is beautiful. I love, love, love the coloring, and it looks so soft, even with the cowlicks. (Cute!) Happy holidays and much love to you and to your lovely family, Kristen.

Oh no, that's terrible news. I'd been thinking of Ladonna quite a bit for the last month, and especially for the last few days. I'm just glad that she is doing so well with all of this. My prayers, vibes and tons of my love to Ladonna and to her family. Ladonna is such a special, beautiful and strong person, especially this last year or two, so I know that she will hang in there. My best wishes to all, and thanks for posting this, Michele.

Swedishcelt~ I feel exactly the same about you. Thank you for being such a great friend.

To Lawrocket: Jerry was the lawyer with a heart of gold, whose love for his children and wife know no bounds. He has been a kind and caring friend, a devoted husband and a wonderful father. Cheers to Jerry for holding strong what is most important in his life.

With either dress, you can still pin a red flower in your hair, or wear a red chocker around your neck. You can even wear red shoes. You can make either dress work with just a hint of red in your ensemble...good luck!
-
Noooo!!! Please don't dye the dress. The white dress looks like it's made from non-natural fibers, which means that it will not dye well at all, especially not into a vibrant red. If it's silk or all-natural fibers, like cotton, you have a better chance. I wouldn't do it. I like the black dress. To me, it looks less distracting and like it would flow better. Bottom line...wear the dress that you really want to wear. Wear what makes you feel confident and happy, when dancing.

Omg, omg...bwahahaaa!!! Noooo Nicky, there are six or seven, not five! Now, THAT was funny, Nicky. (Bethany, I'll have to call and tell you about the 6 or 7 nightmare. You'll die laughing! )

I (and many others) have met Willem several times. No, he's not BillVon, Skymama nor Cocheese. All of them do exist in the "real world" as do I.

there is just something about USC winning ... at least in this one corner of the world, all is well

I agree. I don't like to be disturbed when shopping. While I love being frugal, I hate this kind of shopping experience. Some people can be animals! Kudos and good luck to Skymama for roughing it out today. I hope that you got lots of great deals and had fun with your mother!
