  1. Shannon's clever, witty, funny, beautiful and sexy! Edited for typo.
  2. Lee has been having bad luck lately, but, he is a very nice man, whom I can call my friend.
  3. My tunnel buddie...long time, no speak, Clint.
  4. How'd you get so damn sweet? Thank you. I'd have to say...my parents ...good genes.
  5. Hmmmmmm...........I THINK that's good. It is, Clay. I wouldn't waste my time posting to you if I didn't find you entertaining...in a good way.
  6. Now if I can just figure out if she is laughing AT me or WITH me....... Both...
  7. I just looked her up and you do have quite a resemblance! Damn hotties! Thank you, Shannon. (you're one to talk! Hottie!!!) I only know who Vanessa Marcil is because my makeup artist friend was doing my make-up for fun one day and kept telling me how much we both look alike. Orchid ~ I'm sorry, honey. You haVe my #. Call me later tonight, and we'll talk.
  8. I think that it depends on the context in which you use it, and the person's age. You seem very young, so that term wouldn't bother most young people at all! It is not offensive.
  9. I still think that you look much better than Jen Love Hewitt...but ok. I am still getting over the weekend. I had the greatest time flying in the tunnel and with my 4-way camp! I hope that you had fun with your two-ways, also! It looked like a blast for everyone involved! Ok, the last time that we talked about this film thing, everyone thought that I should be played by Penelope Cruz. She is quite pretty, so that is a compliment. In real life, I have been told by those in the know that I resemble Vanessa Marcil...especially the eyes. (See attachment.) Either way, she is also pretty. I don't think that I resemble either that much, but I accept the compliments, anyway.
  10. I agree with both your answers, Amazon. Anyway, I think that people can't just shove their nudity in other people's face...the time and place thing matters. The last time that I was topless was in Hawaii. I was shy about even being in my bikini top around the others, especially the fathers and families nearby. Then, I suddenly saw a secluded area and just took off my top. It didn't last long. Suddenly, there seemed to be too many people that kept walking in close proximity. Anyway, it didn't feel right anymore after that. My top and t-shirt stayed on the rest of the afternoon. Hot springs are the most relaxing place where it feels the most natural to be openly nude.
  11. What's up, "Orchid"? I thought that you had another username on here, sweetie. Anyhoo, I like the "Orchid" username better. (Don't forget to fill out your profile.) Btw, who told you that you look like Jennifer Love Hewitt? (Wrong!) I think that you are very, very attractive in a much different way, girl! You are obviously ethnic (Vietnamese), and I think that you look more sexy and exotic than her (very pretty)!
  12. Yes, my newbie friend, who posts here now, I believe, decided to ride the plane down a few months back because she looked out the door and saw only clouds. Also, I remember her sunset load being as dark as yours...the only other time that I had seen such a dark sunset load. I was watching her children on the ground. I remember being very worried about her as she was still a student, but she was very smart and did the right thing for her. I think that it took guts for her to stay in the plane. Furthermore, I agree that Elsinore's pilots are the best...very, very safe and experienced. Lol...no, Aubrey didn't have any fun at all! Hey Michele, he landed on his feet, and he was BEAMING when I saw him afterwards! I'm so happy and proud of both him and of you, Michele. You two did an awesome job on your jump! Wooohooo Aubrey on your beer stand-up landing!!!
  13. Thank God that you went to the doctor, Lany. Good for you. Take care, and please keep taking your meds for the whole 5 weeks, even if you don't initially get better. You need to take care of yourself. Good luck!
  14. I thought so. Like I said, I was busy in the bunkhouse and gear shop. I was surprised when I looked down and noticed that Aubrey and the others was still getting on the plane. It really seemed later and darker than normal when they were to land.
  15. It sounds like an amazing weekend was had by all. I'm so happy for everyone that went and had a great time! YAY!!! ~ The one thing that saddens me is that Andrea hurt her ankle. (Get better, Skymama.) I also had a wonderful weekend, so I am all smiles (and sore) today...
  16. Wait, Kris, I thought that you and I were on the load right before the sunset load. That what I had been told. I was so happy and busy trying to order my new canopy in the gear shop after my last jump, that I could have missed a load right after mine. I do remember feeling very concerned (although I never voiced it to anyone on the ground) that Michele and Aubrey were already in the plane on that sunset load, when I saw how very dark that it actually was. However, I knew that Lew was coaching Michele and would take care of her. I also knew that, since this is Elsinore, someone would be watching out for Aubrey, as well. I had wanted to be on ther sunset load myself instead of the one that I jumped on, but sunset load was full...so we jumped right prior. I think that my jump was actually more of a true sunset load. Anyway, Elsinore's pilots are awesome, so he must have had his reasons.
  17. That's so wonderful that you feel so much better!
  18. Jake, it's wonderful that you are defending Eliana's honor, but I don't think that he meant to show disrespect to her (at least, I hope not. ) I may be naive to the way that some men think, but I cannot imagine someone actually intentionally disrespecting Eliana. She is too sweet and good-natured...and could probably kick your ass if need be. Eliana exudes an air of calmness, quiet dignity, humbleness, grace and strength, both in the air and on the ground. What is even more amazing is that although she is such a shining star and an amazing skydiver, she is still so down-to-earth and so eager to share her knowledge freely. I am so honored to have flown with her and briefly gotten to know what a sweet person that she truly is. She is lovely in every way, and I am quite inspired by her, just for being such a good human being, among other things. Furthermore, I was incredibly flattered that Jeremy (Airspeed camera man) often called me "little Eliana" at the tunnel camp. Wow, what a compliment , but, no, there is only one Eliana. Btw, I'm attaching one my favorite pics...from THIS thread. Squeak ~ Thanks for the compliment!
  19. Oooooooh...aaaaah!!!! That's pretty cool, Max...nice pic, and I know that it must have been a great day of skydiving for you.
  20. Hey Aubrey! It was so nice seeing you, again.
  21. 30 :12:I'm not sure...I'm a little tired right now. 30 minutes in the tunnel on Friday...omg. (YEAH baby!!!) 11 4-way jumps...now that's what I'm talking about! + 1 awesome fun jump (a sunset 3-way Do-si-Do) = 12 jumps total Last year, I sadly slowed down my jumping...only jumped 3 jumps between Oct. and the Eloy Boogie. Then, this year, I only jumped one and half days in Moss Point and one day here before this weekend. I felt so uncurrent (even though technically I was current). This weekend, I made up for lost time with John Hamilton's 4-Way Camp at Elsinore. I flew with an amazing instructor (Doug). He's unbelievable. I'm so very happy (and tired) right now. This camp kicked my ass, but, in my heart, I wish that I could have flown even more, esp. skydives with block moves. Block moves ROCK!!! Btw, I am officially in LOVE with 4-WAY. Then, again, I ALWAYS knew that I had a passion for it...yeah, I'm spanked!
  22. Well, you know that no matter what, Vicki, I WILL be meeting up with you at either Perris or Elsinore and, hopefully, fun-jumping with you, too. I can hardly wait!
  23. come on everyone, be proud of your bodies... or at least don't be ashamed of them. Not wanting to walk around topless amongst those fully clothes after a topless jump suddenly classifies me as being "ashamed of my body"? Trust me, buddie, there is absolutely no reason for me to be ashamed of my breasts, but I am not used to walking around topless in front of total strangers who are fully clothed (usually, anyway...lol...wacky skydivers). I thought that the whole point of the skydive was for the "feeling", not to show everyone my body. Also, I prefer to keep some things a mystery, except for a chosen few. However, if everyone were to be topless, and I would not stand out too much, like say on a European beach...I would most likely be topless then.
