I would say ezprints.com I have only sent them digital files, and they can print whatever size you want. Your best bet is to scan them in as best you can, make a file, and send it off. good luck jeff D-16906

This is especially true these days. I watch it closely. Here are all the factors at play, and for anybody considering being a pilot for a career, this is what you can expect over the next couple of years: Regional Airlines all over are hiring at a very good rate. Major Airlines, are hiring, but not at the frantic pace Regionals are. Air travel is up, more people traveling to more destinations more often. When the Regionals are hiring, they will typically take people from flight schools, but the pay at the Regionals is slightly higher than the pay at some flight schools, plus the added benefit of flying a jet around. So lets talk for example about a flight school such as Pan Am or ATP. Students go through the program, and then become the best candidate to turn around and teach at that same program, because it is all fresh, and they did it just months ago. They will stay there till the regionals hire them, and most likely not one minute longer. When I was going through ATP, you graduated (not officially...you just had all your ratings) and if you wanted to make 1k a month, working 12-14 hour days, 7 days a week, you need about 6 months to have anywhere between 650-1000TT, 90% of which is Multi, and you were off to the regionals, where you would start making $12-15 per hour. You could probably make more in a department store, and not have 50-70 people's lives in your hands. But I digress. This is route many dudes took, because now, they are most likely moving up to captain in the same RJ, and they most likely have 2000 something hours now. Ok back to Pan AM. Now, Pan Am has this same phenomenon going on. However, Pan Am's number one client are two Chinese Airlines, who send over cadres of Chinese students to train here, and as soon as they finish with their multi commercial and turbine stuff, go right back to China where they will immediately sit right seat in a 747 or some such heavy airliner, hopefully next to some very experienced captain. So, the final point on this is that since most of the students take off to China, and do not turn around here to teach, Pan Am, almost always, is hiring instructors. There are other schools out here in the aviation training mecca of Phoenix that are having the same problem. Now, couple that with the fact that most of the guys who came back from the Viet Nam war as decorated pilots, who took on jobs right away as Airline Captains, are quickly approaching the mandatory 60 retirement age. They forecast that the peak of this retirement will happen in 2009, but it is already showing signs. So more airlines, Major Airlines (Southwest, USAirways, United, NW, etc) wiil continue to need more pilots as 2009 gets closer. When the Majors hire, they will take from various flying jobs, but most of it will be the regionals. It is like one of those puzzles with one missing square... So in 2009, if you have some flying sense, and a few hours, you will be likely to pick up work. So if the majors and regionals take everyone they can get, part 135 operations (cargo, on demand, charter, etc.) will also be hiring, although some of those jobs are much more of the "who you know" types of jobs. But there are lots of those around. And the good thing, is they tend to start at about 35-40k, usually multiengine airplanes, and often turbine. So, my advice to anyone who wants to do this, is start now, and by the time you have 1000 hours or less, (hopefully 2 years if you work hard at it) there will be plenty of jobs out there. It is a tough road at first, and for me, I am hopefully now just coming out of the curve of poverty....maybe. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. any of you who want more info from me, feel free to pm anytime. jeff D-16906

I am in dire need of a website, and I have a container I could hook you up with...however it is built for me at 6'1", holds up to a sabre 150, and down to Sabre 120. It used to have a PD143 reserve in it, and it is a racer. It is probably not ideal for you, too small at this stage of the game. But hey, I also live near phoenix, near Eloy. Maybe we can figure something out...coach jumps, etc. jeff D-16906 jeff_agard@hotmail.com

why does everyone use quick release stills mounts
ffejdraga replied to skydog.paul's topic in Photography and Video
I use one, and always have. Back in the day when I was shooting film, it was a must for my front mounted camera, becasue you were sure to take it on and off for EVERY jump to switch out rolls of film. Now I shoot digital on a top mount, and clikety clack it is on or off as needed. I use stroboframes. I also used to switch cameras, and both could be locked in quickly, depending on what I needed. Now, only one digital does it all, but I like the quickness. I feel that security of the camera is not an issue, or at least hasnt been in about 2000 jumps. jeff D-16906 -
I bought my Alera a few years ago, did 400 videos/stills that season, then the next did another 300 or so, and all buttons and functions work sweet. I love that thing, that is what I would get agian. jeff D-16906

I would say that right now, there are some really good deals in Phoenix metro, as far as houses go. There is a surplus of inventory, so the buyer has the pick of the market. You can easily find houses in the Phoenix area for less than $100 per sq. ft. It is a great time to buy a house, if you are not trying to sell one. RkyMtn, if you pick Phoenix, my wife is a realtor here, and can help you find a house. Adelatheskydivingrealtor.com Good luck in your choices. jeff D-16906

Yeah man, I'll take the word of a mining engineer, over the word from a bunch of airport yahoos that have been telling me it it 1500'+. 1000 seems more like it. jeff D-16906

Darius, you gonna come and help me climb out? It is a long hike. Plus copper/cyanide water means I need to get new gear. I'll pass. But for anyone who wants to, the place is close enough to the dz that it could count as "bad spot" rather than a 'demo' jeff D-16906

Yeah man. It is full of some pretty toxic shit. jeff D-16906

There is a copper mine that I fly over all the time near Casa Grande AZ. All the tandems love looking at it. There has been lots of speculation of the depth of it, and no one seems to know the real answer. It would be nice to know, so I have drawn up the supposed dimensions of it. Given my attachment, is there enough info to solve for x? I also tried looking on google for info about the mine itself, and nothing came up with the depth. The mine is circular, so on the attachment, 2630, represents the diameter at the surface. I estimate the angle to be about 60 degrees, but it could be less. If there is enough info, what would be X if the angle was 45, 50, 55, 60 degrees? Also, the estimation of the diameter is only a guess, so it could vary by 1000' +/- lastly, the bottom line of the mine is represented by water, it goes down below, but how far, I have no idea. HERE is a pic of the mine itself... Either math based or information based answers are all good with me. Thanks jeff D-16906

I agree, not funny. not good. waste. However, there is another movie made in 2004 called Employee of the month, starring Matt Dillon and Christina Applegate. That was a good movie, stupid at times, but funny and dark. Worth the watch. The Real Employee of the Month jeff D-16906
