Unstable

I am starting this thread new for a variety of reasons. I am asking Riggers only to post here, because if more than one person posts for an in behalf of the same rigger, then we will be compounding data and our results will be distored. Also - how do you think the increase in gas prices has effected your prices as a rigger? Let's make a few assumptions for this little survey... - Those who poll will be Master/Senior Riggers with at least a Back-type rating. - A.I.R. is a back type, duel canopy system used for intentional jumping. - This does not include the price for a Main canopy Inspect/packing. - Current Prices - Rig is given to pack without a pressing deadline (AKA RIGGER DAVE, I NEED THIS REPACKED IN 2 HOURS) - Non-commercial rigs only. This will be interesting. I have other groups of Data I've collected here and there - If I get at least 40 polls, I put it with the other numbers and see if anything interesting turns up. That's weird - under those circumstances, I can see a need to have him put to sleep. We used to have a dog like that. The neighborhood kids used to throw rocks and stuff at him when he was little, so he would bite and lash out only on children. He got a baby in the face with no warning and we put and end to that (him.) It's scary when there is no warning and your dog even lashes out on it's owner. =========Shaun ==========

I tip at Sonic. I don't tip at other fast food joints. It's simple to me really - the sonic workers actually bring your food out to your car - a personal service that is tip worthy. I don't have a lot of money, but I'm sure at least .50 would be just fine. I actually dated a girl for 3 years who worked at Sonic as a Car-hop - She said that she got tips from about 60% of the cars, but the guys were about 20%. I'm vein. It's hard not to be when I look so good. I found a stock Sabre2 150 with all blue except for cells 2 & 8 being yellow (you've all seen it...) - every dropzone has a canopy just like mine... Anywho, It matches my Racer2k3 (all Blue and Grey), my Helmet (Blue and Silver/Grey) and my jumpsuit (Blue and grey) Pretty sharp if I might say so myslef.....

I dont' see too many Porter's around in the States - I would imagine that with the single turbine engine, they would be more economical to fly compared to a King Air or Twin Otter - Is there some hidden cost to running a Porter that you wouldn't see with other turbine jumpships? =========Shaun ==========

I don't want to name DZ names (I'm sure you will figure it out in a heart beat anywho...) but I've been to the DZ's in the Vegas area - the one that advertises "fun jumper friendly" almost lived up to their claim. I called the DZO (Nice guy, actually) and So one afternoon I took off. I spend a lot of time in Vegas (my brother lives there) and so I usually tell them I live in town - they'll usually open up a lot faster if they find out you're a local. Anyways the DZ in mention wasn't too bad, but it was just hard to get on a load because of the tandems and I couldn't find anybody to go play in the sky with me.... Just nobody else out there..... I agree - skydive mesquite would be the place to go - plus the drive from Vegas towards mesquite is breathtaking... =========Shaun ==========

Agreed. Personally, I would lean towards "time in bed" as being a better indicator. By the way, how can you remember "EXACTLY 35" - did you log them? =========Shaun ==========
