    SkydiveNFlorida, I see that you have 29 or so jumps - this is a good time to buy your own equipment. What i learned to believe is that it may not be a good idea to buy your equipment new. Think about this - between jumps 50 and 250, your canopy piloting skills will grow Exponentially!! Do you really want to spend the extra money for a new main and then be bored with it in a year?!? Also the Container, depending on what you are thinking, you may wind up with a real problem when you downsize. Take it from me, Get some used gear first. It will save you time, money, and frusteration when it comes to downsizing in a short while. Blue Ones, =========Shaun ==========

    I understand your frusterations 100% !! When i was learning to pack, it was the same thing - now that i teach packing lessons at my home DZ, and pack for students, i try to remember my frusterations and help students get it in the bag and get in the air. Be patient - once you get packing down the whole jumping process will change 180 for you - eliminate all the bullshit of waiting. My advice, be persistant: none of the jumpers that sit around on the couches waiting to be held by the hand and taught to pack ever learn. As a packer, it is part of my job to teach students to pack, nobody will hold it against you for riding on someone to help you out. Thats how you learn and how things get done.     Same here - you know why?? Because people like you and me (and everyone else on DZ.com) actually HAVE lives, and don't need to try to live other peoples by following their every life drama. As far as Jennifer Lopez goes, skanky bitch, just like aggie says. Thats about all i know about her - I have never even seen one of her movies.     You might be a lutz if...... "your freakking chute just ripps right off!!" - If you look up and see your chute "nice and round" - If you never figured out what to do during trainging when you chute "disappears" - pull handles randomly (edited because i can't spell or even write in complete sentences) =========Shaun ==========

    I bought my rig with a Personal Loan - Way cheaper than paing 22% interest with a credit card - you see..... this is why skydivers probably shouldn't have credit cards in the first place , never-the-less, should they be using those things to pay for lift tickets. =========Shaun ==========

    2 - 3 Including a Demo into an air show at Herrington - Since it is an old DZ from a few years back, It wasn't a problem as far as safety or FAA regs went. It was kinda cool to see how all the little Cub Scouts Running around really thought jumping was the coolest thing they had ever seen!! Other than that, just some more jumps for the books!

    My first jump?? Well, I can't say I remember a single thing about it. I remember Getting my feet out, I remember climbing out and hanging fromt the strut, and the next thing i knew i had a lovely canopy above my head. I completly blanked out - closed my eyes. My second jump was where i started realizing what i going on around me, and it was my third until i was mellow enough, to watch the Plane fall away and the SL pull tight & release. DOn't worry my friend, Your experience was COMPLETLY normal, All you need to do is get out and do it again!!! Let us all know how the next one goes!!! =========Shaun ==========

    OMFG, I just watched the Scott Lutz Film Clip, I can't believe that: a) He would be such a fucking retard, & b) nobody caught any of this in time to save it from being broadcast!     My rigger runs a "Dave's Parachute Service" out of KC KS- he's willing to get me a New Jav, fully articulated, with kill-line & hackey for $1425. Thats all i need. And for a canopy, I'm sure i can pick something up for under 1500 (maybe?!?!) If your shop can match that or go under, I'll need to get in touch with ya.

    I had the opportunity to visit with Mike During the Last KingAir Boogie in Wichita. From what i Understand, those engines on the sides of that bird are Well beyond the 750 horsepower he gets out of them- His airframe is not rated for anything more than 750, so that 7-minutes to altitude is only at around 65% power.
