    Yeah, this is out of my pocket too, but that's alright. It's about $400 a month, and if for some reason I fall behind, there is a chain of people who will help pick it up. It's a really cool system actually... =========Shaun ==========

    I'm learning some right now, but the progam I'll be in in Provo Utah is Really intense - basically instant imersion. The government has been copying this program of language training for it's personelle for years. Imersion is really the best way to go. My brother did the same thing i'm doing, but he was shipped to Albania about 3 weeks after communism fell. No training, no nothing. Just dropped him off in Tierena (Spelling?!?) and he and his buddies were fluent in about 5 months. I love bulgogi - I've tried to make it myself, but I can never get it just quite like the korean family down the street can. YUM!! =========Shaun ==========

    I've been eatting Kimchee for a while, and lately I've started a program of getted used to it. I still hate it, but I figure If i make myself eat enough of it, It'll grow on me over time. either that or start something growing inside of me... =========Shaun ==========

    I used to take it on Cross-Country Jumps and then to be a Smart-ass, I'd call the DZ under canopy and pretend to be an obnoxious student. This crap lasted about two jumps, the I droped it from about 8,000 feet into a river. =========Shaun ==========

    I've made the decision to serve as a full-time missionary for my church, and they've assigned me to the West Seoul Area. Those of you who know me know the LONG time it took for me to make the decision to do so. I'm really happy that I am, I know it's going to be a great experience... However, I know this means I'm going to have to hang my rig up for a couple off years..... That's okay, I have my entire life to skydive, and It'll be here when I come home. SduCoach & I have made arrangements when I get back in Spring 2007 to get my Coach and My "I" current again, and my rigger "Rigger Dave" in Kansas City is helping me put my rig up to store for a couple years. Arrangments have been made to have my rig ready-to-jump when I get back...

    0:2:0 Nothing Exciting to report here - I made two jumps on saturday because my mean ol' boss made me come in and do the accounting for the month most of the day. Our DZ only turned approxomatly 12 loads this weekend with the torrential winds, so I guess I did pretty good for myself!

    My Calc3 professor was a pretty odd ball, even by math department standards. He pretty much slept each night in the Department common room, and he only wore black. What was creepy is that he always taught his recitation with his infant son hanging form one of those baby-carrier things you hang off your chest. =========Shaun ==========

    Sorry to hear that you're having a hard time right now, Val. We've all been through times where "sleeping it out" or Journaling seem like the only options. Tough it out - I know you'll make the best decision.

    I get like that occasionally. If I really need time off for myself, I simply won't plan anything - Just hop in the car and off I go somewhere. I think last time that happened, I wound up at Freefall Express for a few days. I think I'll be needing one of those here pretty shortly... =========Shaun ==========

    I wanna go to your college.... College for me is studying every night of the week (including friday and saturday) and sleeping in a corner at the library, living off of Cheez-its in the snack machine. You should see my place - I've got some rags torn up and matted into a little bed at the University's 24-hour study area. real cozy... =========Shaun ==========

    There are a few girls like that left, but my experience has taught me that us "nice-guys" are the kind of guys you go out to Ice-cream with, or hang out with on thursday afternoon. Us Nice guys are not the ones the girls take home and.... I've been cursed with being a "nice guy" and I've lost my share of Girlfriends because of it. The only thing to do man, is just be yourself, and have some passions in your life... that's all that gets me through it... =========Shaun ==========
