  1. I am just hoping the Otter will be flying. I hate CASAs. With a CASA, you get the same altitude, slightly slower climb rate than a Super Otter, long strung out jump runs, and then 30+ canopies in the air and in the landing area. Yay. I guess they are great for RWers, but as a freeflier, you get stuck behind the 20 way that takes 30 seconds in the door, AFTER the guy "spotting" makes sure they are not "getting out too early."
  2. Ask them if they want to toss your salad.
  3. Ok good. And ya never know, I have seen some stuff at Dublin that might lead to showing of tats and piercings!
  4. Can you wear that green and white sweatshirt again so I will recognize you? It's been so long and with all your new tats, piercings and haircuts, I may have trouble!
  5. Well, they may have not said what I thought. Cool. Thanks for the DD! See ya in Dublin!
  6. Ah-ha! I could make out very little of what was being said.
  7. I don't think he is talking about Regimental Rangers. Yes, we used to wear black berets until they changed them to tan, but no Regimental Ranger is a leg. You must be Airborne before you go to R.I.P. (Ranger Indoctrination Program). After RIP you go to a Ranger Battalion. So you would never see a Regimental Ranger in Airborne school.

  9. It was number I didn't recognize and I deleted my calls when I was screwing around with my new phone.
  10. Could have been from anywhere, not even sure it was Eloy. Just a guess. I thought the dialer said "Can't wait to meet you." But it was pretty hard to make out everything.
  11. I got a loud and semi-coherent drunk dial on New Years. I couldn't tell who it was though. Was it from Eloy? Huh, huh?

One thing I am having trouble understanding is the differnce between "resolution" and image quality" with the camera. My last phone used "resolution" to set the quality of the image and this phone has a actual "image quality" setting. Is "resolution" just to determine the size of the image and not quality and "image quality" what determines the quality of the image? Does the "resolution" setting effect the quality at all? Any ideas?
  13. Yeah, QUICK, post a bikini shot to make up for it! You do look fine though.

At first, I didn't like the iTap. I used to have T9 and liked that alot. with iTap it predicts VERY well but usually to the point of being overboard and it is almost easier to just keep typing the word like you are using T9 instead of searching the various possibilities that iTap is predicting. As I use it more, it is easier and it is just as good as T9. The other thing I like is the voice recognition function. I used to not use this with my LG because I had to program in my voice for names and all you could do is say "Name" to call that person. With the V3c, you don't have to program your voice in at all, and it has a list of commands you can use. For example, you can say, "Send text Chris." and it will automatically take you to the screen to write your text for Chris. If there are a couple names that are close, it will take you to a screen where you highlight the one you want. It actually works great and is quicker than doing it with the keys.

This is not true with the Verizon V3c. With my V3c when you type "P" it takes you to the "P's" and then if you type "H" it takes you to the "Ph's" and if you type "I" it takes you to the "Phi's" and so on. This is also not true with the V3c. You can store 2 mobile numbers, 1 work number, 1 home number, and an email address under one entry. It will then show up as just one entry in your phonebook.
  16. Talk about bumcakes, my girls got 'em! One of my all time favorite movies! Greatly underappreciated in my opinion! Check out our Badfish website. It goes all the way to 11! After all, we do dub ourselves as "The Spinal Tap of Freefly!"

Yup- I got one too and I love it! I am a little partial to the software that LG uses, but I am getting used to Motorola. The phone is really sharp looking and the thin feature is awesome for putting it in a front pocket! The camera is a camera, nothing better or worse than other cam phones. The voice recognition software is really awesome! The phonebook is great and I see no problems with it as far as listing multiple numbers and emails under the same name and you can enter a letter to search and then the second letter to narrow it down closer. I didn't see any of those problems as mentioned above with the contacts. Not sure if the V3c is different than other V3's. Overall it's a great phone. Great reception and not too bad for battery life too.
  18. Nice pictures! You should have taken that one hot chick next to the ocean home with you!
