The other thing I was wondering is about the camera. People are all saying the camera sucks. Are you comparing it to other CAMERAS or other CAMERA PHONES? I mean, I know that the cameras on phones are pretty crappy, but the one on my current LG isn't bad at all and I actually use it for my job quite a bit for snapping a picture here and there. So are we talking about the RAZR camera being crappier than other camera phones, or just crappy as far as camera go?

First, good luck getting an Airborne slot. They don't give many anymore, and if you are already in the Army, you will find it difficult to get one. Second, if you are in any kind of shape whatsoever and have any sort of military discipline, then Airborne will be a breeze. I personally thought the school was a blast! Kind of a treat compared to my other schools.

Is anyone using the V3c for Verizon? Just wondering if there is a difference in software from other models of the RAZR.

So I am sitting here at work today and the older guy who works here brings in a computer that he bought from his brother for $100. This thing is atleast 10 years old and HUGE! I watch as he apparently decides that it is a good idea to hook it up at the front desk. I have no idea what he plans to use it for or do with it, but he looks like he is on a mission, so I stay out of his way. We have two computers here and they are on cable modems. After about an hour and a half, he gets it all hooked up and calls me over and says, "Why won't the internet come on?" I ask, "How would it? You don't have a modem." He says, "But I plugged the phone into it."

So is it being slim worth anything or would you just as oon take another phone over the RAZR?

All the fetaures it has are pretty much what I have now and like or need. But my current phone is starting to act up a bit, so I was considering the Razr mainly for the slimness.

I wasn't aware that my sign in name was going to be my screen name when I signed up, so I just used ccowden as my sign in name. Otherwise, i may have come up with something more original. But now, I kinda like it being my name. It has helped for people knowing who I am.

That's awesome! And my reply definitely fell into the "I am replying with the info." But, that was quite a bit ago and before I ever really considered the pointlessness of it. And I am not sure I excluded myself from this. But thanks for giving a great example of what I am talking about. Even if people read my "PM Sent" reply, are they just supposed to assume I had the right info and not bother PMing if THEY had the info?

Yeah so? Why reply with "PM Sent?" Can't you just PM the person?

Which is exactly my point. There is no reason for it other than to call attention to yourself and show everyone you are replying to it. And as far as the information PM like a phone number or something, I think it is like stated above, where the person wants everyone to see that they know the information in question. Like, "Look at me! I know this phone number!"

Nah, I don't buy that. We would have NO way of knowing whether the person who sent the PM gave the information they were looking for. If I had the info in that case, am I just supposed to assume there is no point in me PMing them because someone posted "PM Sent?"

What the heck is the purpose of replying "PM Sent" to a post, other than to say, "Look at me! Look at me! I am replying to this!" ?? I mean, do you not think the person you sent the PM to will see it unless you post "PM Sent" in the thread? I would think the bright red words, "New Message" might be a giveaway. Seems to me that the only reason to reply "PM Sent" to a post would be so that everyone else knows that you are replying to it. In which case, doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of a PM in a way? Sure I understand that your reply is private, but why is it necessary to tell everyone else that you did it?
