Most of the requirements can be found in the application forms on the BPA site - you may have to do a bit of digging, but they are all there. Also, FS (WARP) coach is 300 jumps, 3 hours freefall and 2 years in the sport. The AFF BI course is now being brought back in, so you no longer need to be a CSI. D license is C plus 1000 jumps - no requirement for any other qualifications.

I use a Protrack to log my freefall time, so its kept up to date in my logbook pretty regularly. One good reason to log it is that freefall time is a pre-requisite for some ratings.

As the licensing structures differ from country to country, would it be possible to change the license field shown in the user profile besides posts, to include the licensing organisation? For example: License: BPA C 103819 The also covers for multiple people from different countries having the same license number.

Despair Inc do these posters. Of course, the most relevant one is Idiocy

Anyone know the pairs to switch for an RJ45 local loopback?

The correct wiring (based on the normal colour coding) for a crossover cable is: Head One White/Orange [Pin 1] Orange White/Green Blue White/Blue Green White/Brown Brown Head 2 White/Green [Pin 1] Green White/Orange Blue White/Blue Orange White/Brown Brown Edit: So, neither were right - its 1 and 3, 2 and 6 -
Had a work out of this at lunch time, and this seems to be the best way to get there. Looks like a tent is the best bet as well.

Yea, I'm hoping I can come along!

Does anyone have any info about the boogie for first-timers? I'm thinking of going (well - the plan would be to go to Vichy until the 13th, and find some way to get to Karlovy Vary for the Czech Boogie from there). There doesn't seem to be a huge amount of info on the web site though - I'm trying to work out how to get there (coming from the UK), where to stay, jump prices etc. I've tried e-mailing the organisers, but haven't heard back as yet! Cheers,

Ah, so nothing like the "If you could design your own DZ..." thread thats been going on for the past couple of days? For the record, I would like: * Couple of twin otters * Skyvan * Load organizing * Gold toilets * Dancing mongeese * Squirrels in top hats Don't worry - I'll be back up again this weekend. Getting the shakes already. Edit: Did you get your 100th this weekend?

And whats more there are 3 photos of me in it this month! What other reason could you want to subscribe?

No, I did my AFF here in the UK, but I know a few people who have done it abroad (both in Spain and the US). I don't really know much about the Freefall University, but I would also recommend you look at Active Skydiving. Its run by Scotty Milne, and I know a few people who have done their AFF with him who all recommend it!

It may be possible to do this using CSS and JavaScript. Put the products into a new layer, and position this on the screen. Use the clip property to set certain parts invisible (i.e. above and below the background), and add in some images as arrows. Write up some javascript, such that when the up/down arrow is pressed it re-positions the layer and adjusts the clipping. This will give the end user the impression that the content is scrolling. Note - I haven't coded this up and it may not work at all, or only in certain browsers. -
There are currently no wind tunnels in the UK, although as supafly pointed out there are two currently under constuction. The nearest is Aerokart in Paris, however it is quite expensive. If you are wanting to do any extended time, you are probably better going to one of the SkyVenture tunnels in Orlando or Perris. The amount you save in the tunnel will probably make up for the cost of flights!

There aren't actually any wind tunnels in the UK yet - however two are being planned at the moment.

I would also recommend www.dirtdive.net - always had good service from them. You could also look at: www.thomas-sports.com http://www.thekitstoreltd.co.uk

Haha - pre-ninja days there! I think I'll take a screengrab from my FS1 dive next week (I left the video up at the DZ) for the avatar.

Who is up late, or just on the other side of the world.

Well, I'm on the right side of the world. Just eating my lunch... -
Thats what I'd like to know too...he sneaked it past everyone (well, I missed it anyway)! I think there must be a bucket of water with Alan's name on it... P.S. Up this weekend Bex? The weather is looking pretty good!

Yea, that confused me a bit in the plane this weekend - I had misinterpreted the first word. Nice - any details on what these prizes are yet?

Don't know where Graeme's posts just went...but its 25 post in 2 hours I believe. And to keep it all on topic...its confirmed that the 206 will be here for the Scots meet. Possibly formation loads (weather depending), but I guess that it might help any RAPs students with their progression! I may be interested...

Er...I've been posting in this thread for a while.

Surprised me too, I didn't know some of them had DZ.com accounts! It was all that bouncing about the tunnel that did it. A lesson for everyone here - freeflying is bad for you...mmkay. Seriously though, heres hoping it will heal up so he can get back up in the air again asap. And in order to keep it on-topic myself, I shall copy-and-paste the latest news on the hypno-show:

CReW thing or not, try and get yourself up at the weekend. You know you want to!
