yeah..."all men are created equal...." what a load of crap....clearly we are not. (doesn't mean we shouldn't be treated equally however) neways....pet peeves=broken piano keys Created equal. Yes. Continue to be that way? No. There has to be someone at the bottom so that someone can be on top. On that note..... Children's sports leagues where there "are no winners" and "we don't keep score" Fuck you and I can't wait for the day your precious little snowflake finally realizes that the world does not sing and hold hands.

Fortunately, not everyone is equal.

So . . . in other words, maybe my pet peeve should've just been "road rage." I hope you really are just having a bad day. I'm not actually driving in your lane, you know. it's not personally directed against you.
-
Nope. Slow people are still the problem. If you're passing traffic that's in the R lane, that's fine. If you are riding even up with them and just putzing along...well, move the hell over. There are people in this world that actually have stuff to do.
-
THIS! Except reversed. If you are merely going to go the speed limit....get the fuck out of the passing lane and let me take my chances with the cops. They are there to control the speed on the road, and it is not your job to act as the little speed control person in the left hand lane. On the same note, if I am out there doing 80, and someone blinks their lights behind me, I'll move over as soon as I get a clear spot in traffic to let them roll on. Don't ride in the god damned left lane. Slower traffic keep right is NOT that hard of a concept to understand. /Stupid mother fuckers. On that note...I think I just hate stupid people.

Not an acronym, but an internet definition JohnRich - a person with the inability to understand the most simple subject matter in the original post of any thread that is not spelled out on a second grade level. /just an observation after a compilation of forum browsing here.

Times like this I enjoy having a liberal arts education. Listened to Hey jude and thrilled just cause I like them and then stayed with other classical tunes. Good stuff.

Thanks guys. Took me 6-7 years to get there, but it's about that time. Damn me for being 255 out the door.

So looking at the new Mirage Website, well, new since I last looked, I see they have a fully interactive sizing chart on there. Unfortunately not too many "user reviews" yet. Have the majority of you found this to be accurate? I have a G3 M3 - PDR 160. Currently holding a XF2 169. I don't think it will have a problem with a Katana 150 demo I have coming up, but I am curious if anyone has this container with a 135 ish canopy in it. Lemme know.

how much for a beginner's rig?
wildcard451 replied to mxaexm's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Also, as everyone has said, don't buy brand new for your first rig. that can be upwards of $7k for custom everything for something that you will likely be done with in two years. Given that you are posing this question, I am assuming that like most of us, you are lacking that magic money tree in your backyard. I'm starting on my 7th season, have owned two used rigs, and am only now pondering my first custom container for sometime next year, after two more downsizes. I'm 6' 220, so I feel your pain on having to buy big and work through all the spectrum on your way down to wherever you want to end up for canopy sizing. Good luck and have fun. -
...is a dirty filthy son of a three headed bitch? Kick that fucker in the nuts for me. /I still don't think that valet at the hotel knew what to think of Suds' chauffeur services.

how much for a beginner's rig?
wildcard451 replied to mxaexm's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
My first rig was a 1995 Infinity with a 181 Raven 1 and a silhouette 210. 3-4 years left on the AAD. $1900. You don't have to get all pricey to have a good first rig. -

if that was 2 rigs + cameras and gear + clothes and food for two weeks maybe it would be acceptable. -
