I actually didn't do mine jumping. I had a congenital extra band of cartilege in my knee that caused a blistering of the back of my kneecap and was causing my knee to lock. While they were in there, I had them remove a piece of bone from my patellar tendon, which pretty much entailed them cutting it in half. Were I to jump now, then I would have a skydiving injury However, I had them repair it now so I can heal faster, and I have the rest of my life to enjoy this sport. Recovery sucks
