    You too? First plane ride was an otter. First helicopter ride was X-Keys' Alouette. Come to think of it, anything with jumping so far I have jumped out of it before I have landed with it. Hmmm....now I need to find a hot air balloon.

    I feel your pain Nightingale. I'll be starting my third year of medical school (Hopefully). Aug 2nd my group starts on three months of medicine. Between rotations and my healing knee, it may be Eloy before I see the sky again...but god willing I will finally meet all of you guys there.

    Depends on what they are imaging. I had to have dye for the angiogram of my head.

    You should be fine if you are ok with enclosed spaces. I had a full brain MRI/MRA last year and was in the tube for about an hour. I just went to sleep on and off, getting woken up by the noise every now and again. As far as the metal goes, they'll screen you well for that. You'll be just fine. And if not, a little valium should do the trick nicely.

    You know, I have discussed something like this before with other people, except there was no TV show involved. Get bored, go to another DZ, sign up for AFF, and then give the JMs one wild ride. Sounded like an entertaining adventure....until I thought about what I would do if I were the instructor, and if I found out the truth when I got to the ground....that another experienced jumper had intentonally put me into a dangerous situation. If you could ever pull this stunt off with a TV show, definitely clue the instructors in. If nothing else, in the plane since your camera guy would likely be the only camera on you in the plane. Then, turn it into a sick little three-way with nice video. Ohhh, better thought yet. Call the DZ before you get there. Make sure you get some non-student, insanity friendly gear.

    Pretty much the same results as Corn. Initial files were fast......up in the 200-300 range Currently stuck in the 40-50 range. good stuff.
