Yeah, I've been coating my hands in alcohol lately to prevent transfer to patients I was seeing, and today I got the official word that I am not to have any further patient contact until it resolves. It doesn't really hurt anymore, but it aches like hell with my pressures going up. Even worse is having to wear my glasses that are not ni prescription...

Got a raging case of viral pinkeye in my left eye. Nodes on my L ear, damn eye almost swollen shut. Even enough to double my intraocular pressure. Feels like a burning rock where my eye should be. On steroids and glaucoma drops.... YAY! Only upside is that I can't work in the interim /just wanted to bitch //

There isn't much crw that goes on there, and I think exceptions are made on a case by case basis( very high performace canopy flight, etc) While I don't agree with this policy, it is my hometown, and my home DZ, and I like jumping there. All my rigs have always come with a an AAD on purchase, so it hasn't been an issue, but if it doesn't have one, whatever, jump it anyway. But that's a discussion for another thread.

Mos tof the time I can't call people in the middle of the day because of my job, but I can text as I walk around all day. Most of my friends are on Verizon, and I know who isn't, so I watch my texts to them. I have 1500 out of network texts and 450 anytime with VZW, minus a 20% work discount. Last month I think in total I sent/received 4000+ texts.

Tipping for take out? Where no one actually spent any time to serve you other than putting your food in a bag? Well, if you have that kind of money, then indeed PT Barnum was correct - " A fool and their money are soon parted" The ONLY person I tip when I do pickup is my sushi chef, cause, well, he is a badass and always leaves me something new and extra to try that I didn't order.
