Fun as crap!!! -
Is it "in bad taste" to ask for a second opinion or maybe let another rigger check his work? Would your rigger be upset? If he was, would this raise a red flag? Just wondering.
-
Hey Sam, why don't you come to Alabama?
-
LMFAO That is Murphy in action.
-
Cool! Definitely post pics! I like my Tony Suit just fine, by the way. I ripped a hole in the knee a couple of weeks ago on one of my beautiful landings. Oh, the first weekend I had it - busted my butt in the mud.
-
I am going to see Toby Kieth in Birmingham tonight. That should help. That and the fact that the dropzone will be open tomorrow.
-
I am sick of reading about the WFFC! I'm not there and it is not fair! WAAAAAAAAA! Alright, I hope you guys and gals are having fun and please be safe!

1000' We open the door on hot days and it goes like this, "Seat belts! Everybody got em off? Door!" Tandems don't unfasten until they are ready to hook up. About 8000'

We were in a Beech 99 at 12000' and all of a sudden the plane makes a nose dive. The pilot regains control and it happens again. He, the pilot, wants to know, "What the F#$& is going on! It feels like the tail is falling off and we are losing altitude!" The DZO looks out the door and doesn't see anything wrong. We get over the airport and all got out. After the pilot landed, they discover there are worn out bushings in the horizontal stabilizer. Also, a C-130 crossed our path and we hit both of his vortexes (sp). Scariest plane ride ever.

The "kitty" is cool but I don't know, there is just something about that eye.
-
Hey Rebecca, I like the "eye" avatar better. I'm sure you will change it back just to appease me.

I think that line can be credited to the Zucker Brothers, comedic geniuses in their own right. Where I heard it was in the movie "Airplane". I know, it has nothing to do with Monty Python, I just can't resist that line whenevber someone starts a sentence with "Surely"

It might be funny, and stop calling me Shirley.

Can you jump higher than the plane ??

Is that first picture the one where everyone ran to the back and the plane stalled? I saw that on some "reality" show, it was awsome! (I'm glad that I was not on the plane.) The thing stalled and did a backflip and then the pilot flipped it back over and, thank God, regained control. Scary stuff but that is a cool pic. -
41 Damn, how'd I get so old????? "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"
-
Man, sneek off to go skydiving?!! Every chance I get! "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"
-
Man, talk about your post whores!!
-
Thanks for being over there, you can count on the beer
-
Yowsa!! (Moss Point is ONLY about an eight hour drive from here. Now how do I keep my wife from finding out.) "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"
-
Do tell. Also, you guys better get out from over the mountains - those things are like 2000' tall, right? Man, I wish I was there. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"
-
If you are in the Gulf of Mexico, watch out! This was on CNN today, the Coast Gaurd intercepted a 1941 Chevrolet with oil drums lashed to the sides to keep it afloat and a propellor attatched to the drive shaft. Talk about guts! These guys definitely have the potential to be skydivers.

Ok, so I get these catalogs all the time at work. You know the ones, safety equipment, office funiture, etc. So today I go to my mailbox and there is a catalog - Things You Never Knew Existed and other items you can't POSSIBLY live without. This thing is great! How have I lived this long without farting salt and pepper shakers! (You have no idea the shear number of things that fart.) Cheech and Chong head bobbers! 2 headed quarters! Man, I am excited, where is my credit card? I have not looked but their web address is: www.johnsonsmith.com Check it out!
