For my remote Pentax 645 set up I removed the battery grip from the 645 body to a pouch that I have around my waist under my jump suit, from the 645 body I ran the Power Cord from the 645 body & helmet to the battery grip, I used a 5 pin din male & female connector plug to make this splice For the shutter release I use the Cable Switch A from the battery grip to my hand with a 2 conductor 1/4" stereo male & female connector plug to make this connection One thing I had to remember was to plug in both cables before I turned on the power switch, If i forgot and did turn on the power switch 1st and them plugged in the cables I would take a picture as I plugged in. I mostly used the 120 back so I only had 15 shots per roll. For lens I used 35mm,45mm,55mm,75mm in freefall

Do a search for the Sony RDR-GX300 http://news.sel.sony.com/digitalimages/photo?photo_id=155165 From the instruction manual it says that you can record DVD+RW, DVD-RW ( VR mode, Video mode), DVD+R, DVD-R. There is no Firewire in or out

No I couldn't wait, but what’s new On the 20D the tripod mounting screw hole is about a the screw hole thickness back from the 10D's. I will have to talk to Michael Bess about a new mount for the 20D. So I will still have to use the 10D for the 8way team weekend in Davenport See ya there Scott

I don't think to much of the EF-S18-55 len just by it looks when I compare it to the canon EF 20mm, 24mm, 28-200 lens and the Sigma 15mm that I used with my 10D. It was a $100 more so I thought I would take a chance, it my come im handy sometime. I have read that at F/8 at 18mm it works ok

The Canon 20D is here!!! Fedex just droped it off. I got the 20D w/Canon 18-55mm AF Lens. The 20D is a bit smaller and lighter than my 10D.

Hey Billy I'm glad that your Rebel is back and working. I will be up your way in a couple of weeks with the 8way team, I hope it will work out that I can get some photos of you in action. Also I will have to show you my Canon 20D that Fedex dropped off today

Hello All Below is from a post from the Canon EOS 20D/10D/D60/D30 Forum at www.dpreview.com Canon20D compared to the Canon Rebel 300D This Camera is FAST!!! 1. Turn on time is Instant. Wake up time is instant. 2. Build quality is MUCH better then the Rebel. Weight feels about the same. 3. Shutter speed is louder, has a "tingy" sound compared to the rebel. 4. Low light autofocus is absolutley amazing! Better then any camera I have ever used! 4. This is kinda wierd...In burst mode I can get 6 Raw images. In one shot mode taking pictures one right after another as fast as the camera can take em, I can always get up to 14 Raw images before the camera says busy. That should be acceptable to anybody IMHO. Now, that is RAW only, not any of the RAW+jpg options (there are several) 5. View finder seems larger then the Rebel. Nice and birght, no problems there. 6. Joystick is a little gimmicky. So far, it has only been useful in review mode. I have not needed it in anything else. (Did I just make it obvious that I skipped the manual?) here are unedited samples. More to come!!! 7. http://www.pbase.com/fantasmic03/20d_samples They are all handheld with 28-135IS. -
Maybe this web site will help http://www.lafcpug.org/tutorials.html

How you use audio creating a video?
videointhesky replied to Lee846's topic in Photography and Video
On the other end of the scale I had to slow down the video speed to 25% of normal speed to match the audio. Watch other videos, Learn & Master your editing system, practice practice practice Most of All Have Fun !!! http://freefall-video.com/video/windows/cleanerxl_sunsetDV_small.wmv 2:24 long -
Do yourself a favor and get the Canon 10D. You won’t regret it. Make sure you get the Canon 20mm lens & the Sigma 15mm lens so I can use it for 8way exit shots. See ya Saturday

Adjusting Digital Photos for Printing???
videointhesky replied to videointhesky's topic in Photography and Video
Question For all of the PhotoShop & Digital Image Editing Wizards What are the hot tips, how to’s or advice for adjusting skydiving digital photos taken in the air or on the ground that you want to print as a photo? I’m using a canon 10D I use Photoshop CS (8.0) under adjustments I have been using levels, contrast, curves, and hue & saturation. I also use image size with resample image unchecked to make sure that I have the correct size to print an 8x10, 8x12, 11x14, and 12x18. In addition to image size I check the canvas size to. Thanks for any help or advice -
