Hummmm still pretty quite on the news front. I wounder if this will become "weekend news" - only getting press if they keep marching. It seems everybody that can investigate is investigating. Last night I did hear one thing that was somewhat upsetting….and it was from the much hated Bill O’Reily. Basically he thought that Zimmerman now needed to stand trial to just have the question answered in basically a public forum. (Court). Unless more credible evidence comes forward I’m not sure if that is correct. AGAIN understand I believe that if they can prove more he should be. Think about if he is innocent though. He’s watching the news, he’s seeing people talk about killing him. Think about if the FBI, a special prosecutor, ect had been brought in to look at it all. All that pressure to arrest him. Will these people have the balls to look at the evidence and say “No”? To say we need to have a trial just so the people who don’t want to trust the system, or feel because it was a white on black crime, or the fact that the leaders of the black community demand it strikes me as a scary thing. The news has been quite today. I did see a bit about one of the news shows editing what Zimmerman said to make it sould worse that what the entire recording sounded. The head wound seems to been put to rest with the photos that were released. Last the voice experts didn't seem to generate the excitment I thought it would. Has the press lost interest? ABC (I believe) had the photo of Zimmerman head enhanced, it shows what looks to be a pretty good head wound. It looks to me that the area was shaved.... beats me what it means. I’ve been gone skydiving (222 ways) and just had a chance to catch up with this thread. ON EITHER side if you can’t see the media sensationalism going on with this your blind. Zimmerman may be guilty as hell, but the press has made Martin out to be a St. to start. I posted the comment about Obama being “white” as much as Zimmerman as a point to that. If the national press was covering this at all fairly why WOULD they call Zimmerman white? It of course doesn’t matter if he was white or black but it does go to the point that the press in ginning this story as hard as they can. Classic victim story that was as humans all like to follow. A poor, young innocent black male gunned down but a white man, twice his size. Race DOES matter in this case because, although there are some points that CERTAINLY need to be addressed if this was a black on black crime it NEVER would have recieved this attention. What is really funny is reading both sides here. Neither wants to be believe anything that comes out unless it helps there side. The pictures of Zimmerman head looks like a pretty good injury to me..... but yet others will simple stop arguing that point and go to something else. The easy answer is NO. I've read every thread here. Basically one group is just SURE that Zimmerman did it. There story has modifiyed somewhat but the facts are coming out. The overiding fact is that a young boy is dead, and that is terrible - but other facts are coming out. Zimmerman was a fool, but Martain wasn't the perfect little kid either. I find it interesting the pictures that are being used of Zimmerman and Martin. Ebe terrible, terrible Fox uses the picture of Zimmerman that makes him look like a thug and the sweet young picture of Martin. Interesting. I'd say that was older news (in fast breaking news) that today the Orlando newspaper has an artical that another witness is saying that Zimmerman was the one crying for help. It's been post HERE on these threads. As of today 3/26/12 you can PICK wichever side your on and there are news reports to support yourside. If – and I say IF – the news account is correct and IF there are witnesses that can say that Zimmerman did not throw the first punch, and if fact was being beaten I just can’t see how Zimmerman will be charged. It isn’t against the law to follow anyone. But the more I think of it….. I don’t want to tangle with my 17 year old nephew. He’s tough. The national press has made Martin to be just a little kid. The pictures make him look about 12 and 115 lbs. Other pictures are coming out and he doesn’t look near as small and sweet. Does anyone have the actually weight and size of both? In the end this is being tried in the public. Like the last case Obama got caught up in…. there won’t be a beer at the white house to make up for mistakes. If I was in charge of that police department, I’d be scared to death. NO WAY no matter how much evidence they have – and it seems to be leaking out now – will Sharpton and Jackson let this go. I wouldn’t cat herd without folks like that. The new Georgia POP’s record stands at 29. The jump held for 22 seconds!
