    bend in the elbows?.... arms to my side, palms down........hands slightly infront of me kind of bend or arms out, forearms sort raised kinda bend Sorry if silly question but I am sitting at my desk with my arms out trying to figure out what you mean - my office staff think I am nuts - but they do anyway since I started jumping out of perfectly good planes.     Thanks again...let me recap: *smaller sit will speed me up *for stand have arms in T to start *pelvis must go out when legs down to stand *if I pop then get small so not to lose speed Think I have enough tips to at least attempt it. ooooo....I'm so excited to try - almost wet my pants!     Thanks for all the tips - gonna just go try it this weekend and see how it goes. I'm pretty patient (ok - so I'm not really patient) but I am in no rush either. Have lots of time to figure this all out and lots of new pals willing to help. And I am liking all this talk about pelvis and hip movement....hubba hubba!     So maybe when I am playing with new pals, I'll just try it. Just pop those feet down and see what happens. And then someone will be there to tell me what I need to do different when I flail all over - for the first few jumps. Took me 6 jumps to feel the sit....     Any suggestions on best way to practice this next step. I have gotten pretty good with my sit but if I need to pick up some speed, cause am jumping with lots of speedy headdown folks, guessing for me best thing to do would be to pop into stand. Feet together, feet apart, arm position? Any tips would be mucho appreciated! THIS IS SO EXCITING! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    Sky birthday is 1-25-03 (first tandem), graduated AFF 3-1-03 (Hop and Pop) and as of today I have 106 jumps. But the summer has lots of plans in store for me so I am guessing I will hit 200 WAY BEFORE September. And I still love writing down each jump in my log book after I make it...with as many adjectives as I can fit in. GOOD STUFF! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    works for me.......had a talk with the roommate and told her I would appreciate 30 days notice if she can swing it....this way I can get the extra cash for my Aggieland and Raeford trips. I'll sort through the rest of it - right now I'm not focusing on the bad stuff...I am looking forward to all the fun ahead!!!!! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
