That's right...I heard about that - the FreeFly Festival or something. You local kids have to make sure you get all the info out so we can plan accordingly. I'd LOVE to come back and play again but I'm bringing a cooler with FOOD this time.... Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Well I am just getting home (late flight and lost my keys on the shuttle bus ride to the parking lot ). I'm exhausted but GLAD AS HELL I made the trip. What a frigin FUN ASS weekend!! Thomaston was a AMESOME dropzone and I gotta say - Trey is one heck of a pilot who knows how to maintain his KingAir . I can't say enough about all the GREAT people I met there and awesome jumps I got to make. Big thanks to Ian and Katie and the Room 206 posse . Can't wait to see everyone again soon but if you have not made it to Thomaston - make the trip. It's worth it! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

ROAD TO HANA..............that is what that crazy little road was called. ROAD TO HANA! I stayed at the Pioneer Inn in Lahiana while I was there and it was just the neatest little fishing village. Man - I'd love to go back Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Oh man, I cannot remember what island it was on (wherever cheeseburger in paradise is - Lanai?) but there is a "roadl" (a very small dirt trail that runs along the entire outline of the island). It is a slow drive (few hours), along some BREATHTAKING cliffs (great photo opps) and there are a FEW little places to stop and see along the way - Just really neat and not the normal tourist thing. Have a blast and if at all possible - YOU HAVE TO JUMP THERE. I have friends who took pictures and I can only imagine what it would feel like to be standing at the door for THAT exit. WOW...lots more responses I never saw but I have to say - my project was not as bad as I thought. Thursday night was demolition of old stuff - no problem but lotsa talking to myself. Friday I picked out new vinyl flooring (was easiest and cheapest) and installed it rather easily right over top of current floor

Hate to say it but FUCK what everyone else thinks. You are the "boss" and a rule was broken (or ignored) - no cookies for them no matter what anyone says. You did the right thing. As for the grandparents - they can get the ticket(s) changed or put on hold for a later date, maybe you could offer to cover the change fee and resolve that "upsetness". Let THEM go on the trip and save the ticket for another trip or give it as a gift down the road - maybe when the "bad kid" shapes up Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

So I got this bug up my butt to remodel my bathroom and I don't think he will be a big deal. I just really want to take out the counter/vanity that takes up the one whole wall and put in a little pedestal sink (and yes, I am doing this myself - I'm pretty handy with tools - ask anyone who's seen my house). Has anyone done any bathroom remodeling? I think once I get the sink out, the counter top might just be glued to the wall so I'll need to pry it off (without distroying the sheetrock) and then remove it (might need help with that part). Next question - there is a half wall mirror that appears to be "resting" on the backsplash of the counter which I'm assuming is also glued. Will that stay in place okay? I was thinking about putting up some of that pretty wood on the lower half of the wall just to cover up where the vanity was so it would have a little lip to rest on again. Ummm...what else..............oh yeah - the floor. I currently have a piece of lynoleom (or something like it) and I'm sure it is NOT under the vanity so I either need to remove and replace it or do something else. Suggestions?! So talk to me bathroom remodeling pros. I want to make good use of this long weekend - and I am starting tonight ANYONE WANNA COME HELP? Well have fun - I am taking the long weekend to remodel my bathroom. I got bored the other night and started so now I have to finish. I might squeeze a few jumps in but I'm boycotting cuz it seems everyone is going other places ...BUT I have Atlanta NEXT weekend to look forward to. HAVE A BLAST - I want to see pictures! I saw 70's to mid 50's but LONG ASS DAYS for jumping. Hotels are not easy to find right now and if it is 50 at night - not sure I'd want to camp. I am looking at airfare just for the heck of it although my boyfriend has a swoop comp locally at the same time.....but I'm not a swooper Made a jump with a guy from Alaska around April of last year in Sebastian - it was my 4 way requirement for my A or was it B and he forgot to let go at breakoff and sunk me down to 4K which at THAT time was LOW Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
