Absolute lie, you oppose anything which you think is renewable. Example: our discussion about the Tesla grid-scale battery in Australia. You were against it because you thought it was renewable, but 1) it wasn't actually renewable (it backed up a coal plant) 2) it wasn't subsidised 3) it was extremely profitable Wind and solar are extremely profitable - lowest cost according to the IEA - but you wouldn't back them because of what they are, and you have a LONG track record of lying. Edit: you're just going to say "if they were competitive, why don't they stop the subsidies then?" Forgetting that that question has been answered several times, because you're a boring troll.

I tried to get him to predict the 2021 global temperature anomaly, and he had no idea what it was. Then he tried to squirm out of making an actual prediction, finally declaring he was off "to watch the football" He's never going to learn, or change. Like a...fossil. Apt, isn't it?
-
Not just once. He predicted a red wave, multiple times, and started SEVERAL THREADS, cheering about the coming red wave but he now lives in a state with a blue senator

That's a freeze frame of the russian firing his weapon. His colleagues are on the ground, appearing to surrender, then the last russian comes out and opens fire. Yes, they are all filmed dead afterwards, but pretending to surrender (perfidy) is a war crime. Also, did you not read to the end of that BBC article? They also talk about a gruesome murder done by the Russian side. You're regurgitating weeks old Kremlin lines, do your handlers have to use paper letters to send them to you to rehearse?

"moved their forces" it's called a RETREAT! Sure, Ukraine is having electricity problems, but progress in war is measured by land taken. Did the US win in Vietnam because I'm pretty sure the Viet Cong didn't have any electricity either? Nor did the Taliban. By any reasonable measure, Russia is losing this.
-
So...Russia still occupies Izium, Lyman and Kherson? That chaotic retreat wasn't real?
-
No need, he's just parroting russian propaganda. He even lags the Kremlin press releases a bit, so he really adds no value.

Because you're not the judge, or jury of this case. You only want to be. -

Burden of proof is on the accuser, innocent until proven guilty, that sort of thing. But as we've established here before, you're way too cowardly to ever make that step, so all you have are these snide implications-but-never-actually-saying-anything. -
So I guess if someone tries to rape your wife, you'll just tell her to stop resisting to avoid needless injuries or death.
-
Go on then, show the footage of Ukrainians asking for negotiations. Oh and by the way, Ukraine retook Kherson just 2 days after your 30 day prediction.

I know our troll kept posting 'go woke, go broke' topics which had a pretty broad definition of 'woke', but here at least it's self-described. So apparently there was a bank that was founded to be anti-woke: ...and well, they went broke: https://www.wsj.com/articles/anti-woke-bank-glorifi-to-shut-down-11669051554

Man, brent really made a lot of posts about the midterms didn't he?
-
It's now finally 30 days since this prediction, so let's check how it's going. Looks like Ukraine is about to score a major victory in Kherson. Russia is retreating from the only major city they've captured this year.

Nobody's saying what you're supposed to believe. I'd just like to point out, that incompetence on the part of those monitoring him is a far simpler explanation than a detailed, planned shadowy assassination. Also, is losing sleep the only criterion for being desperate? I'd put mental gymnastics as a good indicator. -

Hmmm goes the sealion...do you actually have anything? Go on, make the accusation. -
Powerful speech by Biden on the assault on Democracy

This is quite the irony, considering you're discarding a simple explanation (that it was just an attack of someone they didn't know) for a more detailed one, which you don't know what it is yet but are desperate to believe. You discarded the simple explanation (that Epstein killed himself) for a more detailed one (that a shadowy conspiracy assassinated him), so it's not a one-off. So either you're lying in the above, or you're just not self-aware. Or worse, you're lying to yourself. -

I think this is a trolling method called 'sealioning'. Definition at Merriam-Webster Being too cowardly to make actual accusations supported by evidence, but just continuously and repeatedly pointing out "something odd", or "just asking questions" to draw out a hostile response, then using that hostile response to continue supporting their original argument -
But will people be happy that their local police dept. will now have to spend $8/month of their tax money to keep their verified status? Twitter made a loss of more than $300 million last year. Those verified accounts drive views, like ryoder's. Advertisers don't want them leaving twitter, and that's exactly what this fee will do. There are about 400,000 verified accounts there, so even if none of them left, it would only generate $38.4 million per year. Not really going to put a dent on a $300 million loss.
-
I've seen this somewhere else - the verified accounts are usually the ones putting the value in Twitter by bringing in the views which brings the ad revenue, which they currently do for free. ...and Musk's strategy is to make them pay for it. Twitch and Youtube, on the other hand, share their ad revenue with their creators, which is the opposite strategy. Let's see how it works out for him.

Man, you must be terrible at poker. Go on, explain what varied in management practices from last year.

I doubt it was gleeful, but I guess it's what you tell yourself.

I thought that something like recovering Arctic sea ice would be all in our favour, not just you. Right?

But how much of that 'signal' will be from actual facts and not from misinformation, like we've been seeing in this thread? Popularity is just that, popularity.
