  1. I am a nun who eats shit and am proud of it.
  2. I think the U.S government has already admitted that they use White Phosporous, so the source of this video is not that important anymore. You may not believe me, but i don´t hate the U.S. Being an European i am not fed with the nationalistic propaganda you are fed on a daily basis, so i look at the U.S with another eyes. If you take away blind patriotism, you will be able to judge the actions for what they are, not for who commits them. There is a constant double standards and "do what i say not what i do" going on in your country that it is amazing there is so many people that don´see it. Kudos to you for saving lives, and i am sure most of the U.S army are decent people that are trying to do their best. I am sure as well that most of the Irakis are innocent decent people but that doesn´t stop the U.S army from increasing everyday the number of "collateral damage" because the few bad apples there is in Irak. The U.S has also bad apples, but somehow their bad apples are worst than your bad apples. Here we have again another case of blind patriotism and double standards.
  3. QuoteFrom this video it appears that US forces have sunk to the same level![/reply Naaahhh, there will be some rationalized reason that will make the U.S use of chemichal weapons like something good. Something along the lines of... "There was insurgents among them", or " we didn´t target innocents, although we knew that there were innocent along the bad guys"
  4. I think that Bush spent all his political capital he had left from 9/11 in his adventure in Irak.
  5. After the shootings, police seized 54 guns from the home where Ludwig lived with his parents, according to court documents Holly Molly, why would anyone want to have 54 guns in his home if you only have 2 hands? maybe too much of Rambo in his Corn Flakes. I guess i am being naive when i think that a bit of gun control here could have made the diference...
  6. I believe that legally it would be statutory rape, not just rape. For it to be rape, he would have to be unwilling to do it. I don´t know wether damage was done to him or not. It is just a wild guess for we don´t have any psichological report that proves either way. Notice that i am not advocating for her to go unpunished, i just prefer to put this into perspective. When you are a 14 yers old male, you don´t need to be coerced to want to have sex, believe me. The adult is the one who should have said no, but very likely, the kid was more than willing to do her. A 14 years old kid, i wouldn´t call him a child. His body is ready for sex, he thinks he is ready for sex, he maybe even have had sex before. he is just not ready to take full responsability if something goes wrong in sex (pregnancy, HIV, etc). If nothing of the above went wrong, i bet he will be now bragging to his friends about what he did. And the cousin should be charged for reckless driving. I bet he was not looking at the road...
  7. There was a thread in SC a while ago about this very same subject when this incident first came to light. I am having a hard time considering it rape for the guy was not coerced and no damage to the kid was done. Statutory rape, sure. The teacher should loose all teaching privileges. Evenmore, the teacher should face the same penalty a man would had the roles been reversed. (taking into consideration the willingness of the "victim"). All this poor boy thing seems crap to me when taking into account that he was having sex with her (or viceversa) while his elder cousin was driving them around. If it was rape, shouldn´t we take his cousin as an acomplice?
  8. Actually not, there never was a fair election. That is why he was a dictator because he reached power by using the military. He was then an army coronel. Things were not that rosy, and certainly i am not on his side, quite the opposite actually. However, he was a guy that really cared for spain. He did many things for spain and did not try to become rich by stealing money from the rest of the people. He wanted the best for Spain, or at least what he thought was the best (which often enough was not). It still does not justify how much people he killed and how he provoked a civil war.
  9. It certainly scapes yours. We are talking here about slandering, and no, you can not slander Bush, and get away with it. If you say something bad about Bush, it better be true because if it is not you will end up in big shit, and if it is, it is not slandering. If M. Moore is not in jail it is because he doesn´t lie in his movies, he may spin the truth, but doesn´t outright lie. Same thing with the Spanish king. Mr Otegui accused the king of being responsible of torturing people. If he can prove it, he will not get in trouble.
  10. If you don´t know much about history it helps if at least you read the whole post. A dictator that has the support of close to half the country can easily become president in any democracy. Now that i mention it, sounds familair, doesn´t it? yeah, like showing a titi on TV, right? Considering i can get arrested in the U.S for much less than that, i can only say it is fair enough. Do you know what patriot act is?
  11. The taste is pretty similar to anise, although you will only taste it after the burning feeling stops. Real absynth is supposed to have halucinogic propertise if you overdoe with it, and trust me that it is easy to overdose if you do shots. Some people like to set it on fire first, and them cover the shot with your bare hand till the shot sticks to your hand, then you remove it and drink it. (it is easier to do it than to explain it) You have to be careful because you may not feel that it is stronger than, let´s say, whyskey or vodka, and therefore drink way too many. They will come back to you all together.
  12. Yep, 2 weeks ago, i shared a bottle of absynth with 3 buddys, I ended up throwing up all over my sister´s bathroom. She was not happy. 30 seconds later I kissed my girlfriend. She was not happy. Next day i was late for work. My boss was not happy. Man, i tell you, that is good stuff. Just make sure you don´t have too many responsabilities the next day, or that night for that matter...
  13. The thing is that he was a dictator for how he reached power. However he was not a dictator in the sense that he and very few had the power opressing the rest. Roughly half of the spaniard population was with him in the nationalistic front. The other half was the republican front and was against him. That lead to spaniard civil war. The funny thing is that it was the republicans who kicked the monarchy out, and it was Franco and the nationals who were suppose to give back the power to the monarchy, although Franco decided to keep power for him, the military, and the nationals. So in other words, Franco and the nationals were not fond of monarchy, and the republicans really hated the monarchy, so i don´t see how that law could have been a hang over from previous times. The reason why we have a monarchy now, is because Franco decided when he was close to die, to delegate his position on the actual king of Spain (skipping his father in the process who was supposed to be the king had not the republicans kicked him out). He did this to avoid a vacuum of power that could lead spain again into another civil war.
  14. Does that mean you are pro-choice?
  15. I very much doubt there was a written law to make slandering the head of state illegal. It was a sure way to get you in trouble, written or not. I still don´t see how that law in the constitution voted in a referendum by the people is a hang over from a dictatorship.
  16. It has nothing to do with that. I meant that it was quite the opposite from that law being a hang over of Franco´s Dictatorship for Franco was not fond of Monarchy. Edited to add that the Spanish constitution was voted in referendum on December, 6th, 1978. Franco died on November, 20th 1975, when Monarchy was reinstaurated.
  17. I think that what they fear is not a secular state, but a state runned by a puppet government controlled by the U.S. So you think they are so stupid that the insurgency cannot spare 50 men from the war to plan the next big attack on U.S soil. Complacency kills.
  18. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I really hope they don´t bring genitalia size to this thread. I have heard that genitalia´s size is inversely proportional to the size of the car they drive. And they love to drive big SUV over there.
  19. [perfidious capitalist laughter] LOL, Yeah, everybody knows i make much more than that.... [/perfidious capitalist laughter]
  20. Actually it is quite the opposite for Franco was not very fond of monarchy. Slander is a civil offence is Spain as well, However there is one article in the constitution that makes slander against the king (and i think royal family as well) a criminal offence, but that was decided after Franco died. If it was up to me i would erase that article of the constitution, but no one asks me.
  21. I know it is crazy but it is because for some charges he has already been in prison, and for others he is awaiting trial finding everysingle loophole in our constitution to avoid returning there. I am all for changing the constitution to give longer sentences to those assholes. We already did it 5 years ago, but i think it is necesary to make those sentences harder again. However i am happy that the constitution is there to be aplied to everybody and is not changed on a case by case basis even if idiots like Otegui don´t get what they deserve. That would give our government too much power.
  22. There is many people in the U.S military that completely agree with what is going on in Irak. If you are one of those few that are there because you signed to defend your country but disagree with what is going on then i do care for you and i hope you make it home in one piece. However the trick this administration is playing is separating those who go to war from those who decide the war. That way the anti-war people will be torn between supporting the troops but not supporting the administration and its cause will be much weaker. If the guys in the military didn´t agree with that war and voiced their opinion, the war would be over much sooner. If that is the only thing you are sorry for, then do not worry, because nothing of what you are doing is benefitting me, my family, my frriends or my country. As a matter of fact, it is not even benefitting you. And i am trully sorry for that. This war is making some people very rich or very powerful, trust me when i tell you that you will not be better of because of this, neither economically, neither in terms of security.
  23. Are you speaking of the U.S in Vietnam, or the U.S in Irak when you finally leave without acomplish anything. Your war mongering post makes me sick. If insteand of Irak you were fighting AQ then i would be with you along with many anti-war people, but i don´t want to take part in any war whose main reason is economic. You have to be proud as much as anyone else from any other country. You live where you live because your parents happened to have sex without protection in the U.S. So don´t think you are any better or have anything more than other people in a no thirld world country has. It is easy to be brave against a country that cannot defend itself, like Irak. We saw the cowardice of the U.S when your monkey president dealt with N. Korea. And your bravery or cowardice regarding Iran will be determine wether they have a nuke or not. You must be one of those that think the bully in haigh school is very brabe for stealing lunch to smaller kids.
