You won't sleep with me? My fleas will mourn the loss, though I won't. Unless your an athletic blonde chick blessed with big breasts masquerading as a guy here on DZ.com. I disagree though. MRC does occasionally put out some stuff they claim is evidence of liberal bias where I really can't see their logic at all. I unsubscribed from their cyber-alerts last year when I got five in a row without one point in any of them that made any sense to me. Some of their stuff is right on the money, however, and I find Bozell's columns entertaining. I'm more of a townhall.com surfer. Not much of a Freeper - never even posted there unless I was really drunk and forgot about it. Don't like their site very much actually. 'Top 10 Conservative Idiots of the Week' , baseless KKK & Nazi accusations, and outright FALSE material are the forte of the two sights I mentioned in the original post, hence my reason for finding them entertainingly dumb. The DU commentary upon Rush Limbaugh's hearing loss a few months ago and Paul Weldon's death were disgracefully bereft of intellect. I think you're right in the abstract though. I probably offended some people by calling them morons. Sorry to any dz.com'ers who love the two sights, but I suggest you read more if you are one of those. SPAM came up in a thread and I was just wondering. I NEVER buy ANY product advertised in SPAM. Anyone know what their rate of response is? Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

All spammers have a special place in hell waiting for them. I truly despise them. I think I heard on some newsprogram or perhaps read in the WSJ somewhere that over 1/3 of all emails sent are spam. This calls for a poll. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Justin, you are one of my favorites on here. Let's compare and contrast. You post a lie from MRC, or even one of Brent Bozell's columns... ...and I'll post one from democraticunderground.com or makethemaccountable.com. Or from some DNC spam - lots of lies in there. Some jackass destined to burn in hell has me on their spam list and I can't seem to get off of it no matter how many times I unsubscribe. I think I might have actually kept a few for entertainment purposes a few weeks ago. I simply delete them now. Let's start with the current MRC cyber-alert. Find the error in there. What is incorrect? Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Lot's of talk about reviving isotope power sources for spacecraft these days. Using GPHB's as a heat source for Stirling Engines. I like nuke power as a general rule of thumb, but think it's been mismanaged. One of Reagan's dark spots. One of Carter's worst moves too, I think, but hindsight is bliss. I've read the Bible, Torah, Talmud, and Koran. Some friends of mine are Jewish. I feel I know both Christianity and Judaism relatively well. I've never stated Jews are a race and never will. Really? READ. Almost all of the original Christians were Jewish converts. Some tenets of the Old Testament - including some found in the Pentateuch - are still espoused by Christian denominations today. Traditions - no. Beliefs with regards to morality - absolutely. Structures? What structures are you talking about exactly? And what is this fixation upon the word 'tradition'? The adjective phrase 'Judeo-Christian' has been around for years, referring to the fundamental set of moral beliefs/principles of many of our nation's founders. Why you are so upset at the phrase and try and pollute it with this traditions nonsense is beyond me. Are there differences between the moral principles espoused by the two religions? Absolutely. Does that mean they have nothing in common? Ridiculous. Your tradition fixation rears its head again. How about Passover? and basic differences in translation & interpretation led to immediate & signigicant differences in dogma and belief. Perhaps you should spend some time researching the each religions qualifications for salvation and 'afterlife'. Very different, rather important core beliefs and yet you claim a common tradition? please... Differences in interpretation? Absolutely. Differences in practice? Absolutely. Differences in moral beliefs? I don't really see all that many. This is an odd fixation. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

I disagree. Though not familiar with the Army regs per se, I am familiar with DoD -especially the Navy. Anyone can talk to anyone in uniform, they just have to be careful as to the topic. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Ahhhh Zenister you make me chuckle to myself. One could make an adjective out of Christo-Muslim that would indeed have meaning. I'd use such a word to describe life in Jerusalem under the Muslims prior to the formation of Outremer. Your assertion that Christians invented the term to add credibility to their religion by assuming connections and traditions of an older religion are laughable. The connections between the two are many. The Pentateuch is contained in the canon of both religions. Their moral codes are quite similar in many respects. The man revered as the Son of God was BORN a Jew. Fairly hard to ignore. Again - ignore the facts if it makes you feel better. I can deal with that, as long as he is not calling for a holy war against Islam, but against Islamic extremists. I think the in uniform thing was on the edge, but not over. He's a big boy - his prerogative. I still hold that no apology was necessary. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

I almost totally agree. I think that anyone in uniform is free to express their views. However, they are not free to do so about senior government officials, DoD policy, American foreign policy, and such things.

Dude I had a good friend in undergrad almost die doing this. I urge you not to do it. Fun, but stupid. He was in a wheel chair for about four years and is only able to walk with a cane now due to some pretty amazing advances in surgical reconstruction. I scuba as well, but think skydivers and rock climbers have more of a penchant for boozing and a much closer comeraderie. I do know a lot of scuba divers that booze pretty heavily. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

I never claim to be free from partisanship. I'm conservative on most issues. One might describe me as a hypocritical libertarian who votes repubican in national elections. A few more random thoughts on TheAnvil political philosophy. Liberalism in general I believe to be good at a local level of government. Favoring a very very very limited federal government in lieu of delegating more power down to state and local governments and most importantly to the individual, I feel their philosophy at the national level to be generally inferior to that of the conservatives. Unfortunately, the current party representing the liberal philosophy - the democrats - has been hijacked by a bunch of self-serving ego-maniacal buffoons. They have basically destroyed liberalism in America for all intents and purposes. I see no movement within the party to take it back from these idiots, so yes, my general philosophy on almost every issue at the national level of politics would have me in the same camp as the Republicans, despite their idiotic views on drug legalization. 'Tis truly sad that I have to vote for Republicans rather than Libertarians in national elections because I find the Democratic candidates so unpalatable on so many issues. I could write an entire tome on my political philosophy and have no desire to do so right now. Some derogatory remarks from the article: The son seems to have made posturing against his father's accomplishments and beliefs his life's work. Really? Explain this. I'd love to hear her explanation. W has given way to a radical right that abhors international coalitions and manners;Odd that he's got so many countries lined up to aid us in Iraq and is currently seeking six way talks with the DPRK. This is completely untenable he mocks the world and denies any need for its help.Really? He mocks the world? Name the quote. Why did the US just introduce UN resolutions calling for international cooperation in Iraq if this is the case? Why is the US working with China and others on the DPRK situation? Ridiculous. He has led the Middle East to the nadir of its hope and possibilities, and he has led the United States to a moment in history in which we face asymmetric warfare from one end of the globe to another. The author really needs to read more. Utterly ridiculous. If GWB started the current intifada and had agents years ago put LSD into Kim Jong Il's Hennessy to make him a nutcase, she might have a point, but even then not much of one. This quote shows the reader that the author has no grasp of foreign policy whatsoever. And above all, he has replaced his father's courtesy and good graces with an almost proud rudeness and scorn for others. Anyone who follows politics or is familiar with Mr. Bush is laughing hysterically at this comment. Why? I'll leave the question of ''killing the father'' to the psychiatric thinkers. Meanwhile, the tension between these two men reveals itself daily. So GWB needs a psychiatrist, eh? I wonder if Teddy K hears Mary Jo's voice in his head - does he need a psychiatrist? I could dissect other parts, but have better things to do. Beers, Vinny the Anvil Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
