    I'm making a red ale tonight. I haven't made a red ale in a long time - well over a year. I think I used to modify the recipe by using some brown sugar along with the corn sugar, but can't remember if that was for another recipe or not. I really should keep better records. Any homebrewers out there have any suggestions? I think I remember seeing one or two on here. Vinny the Anvil

    The Germans are geniuses sometimes. Normally I'm fairly patient with chicks and their shopping insanity - up to the one hour mark. Then I lose my patience. My anger usually increases exponentially (from the one hour and one atto-second Hiroshima-type explosion) with time at that point, unless she's trying on lingerie to model for me or something of the sort.     I think they'll try again. They're doing something that has already been done successfully and they've certainly put a lot of resources into it. I figure they'll launch into a prograde orbit (probably 28.25 degrees if they go from Xichang, 40.4 if from Shuang), LEO of course, then re-enter. Why the hell do anything else? I think Shuang will be the launch site if the yahoo article is correct. I forget the other launch site they have.     Yes! I'm happy for him. Hopefully he'll be able to work with the legislature and get some things done, though I think the fact that about 80% of every tax dollar's destiny is predetermined in CA is an impediment he might not be able to overcome.     The latter portion of your post had nothing to do with logic. It was you expressing your disdain for those who do not use it. The forums are not a life and death place - I assure you we're all quite comfortable as we type (with the exception of the taste of bile filling my mouth as I think on your post). Your own logic is not in question - personal responsibility is paramount in any activity, especially our own sport of skydiving. What is in question is the manner in which you made your original remark and several of your responses to others protesting it. Show some respect for the feelings of others and cut it out. I assure you LizzieB would do the same for you. Respecting others and their feelings is also a matter of personal responsibility - one in which you have either been extremely negligent or have actively chosen to disregard.     While I share your love of the personal responsibility concept, I find the latter portion of your post sickening. Regardless of your opinion of Paul's decision to jump that canopy - and it was HIS decision in the end - the closing of your post displays a cold indifference to the feelings of some really fine people who are denizens of this online community. If you had read some of the posts about Paul's incident or even my own or the initial one on this thread you might have come to the realization that many of us are hit pretty hard by this. Such callous disregard for the feelings of others is inappropriate in any setting. Excuse me whilst I retch in disgust.
