  1. Attempting to resale what you've purchased is quite a laudable endeavor, but I fear you're out of luck in this case. You've once again posted random facts proving nothing and dodging my question yet again. If you had wanted to sell that bridge, I'm sure some folks in Boston for the convention might have taken you up on it. At the very least they might have driven across the bridge to see if they liked it. However, there IS another convention coming up in NYC that will have lots of protestors. If you put out flyers among the protestors, I'm sure you'll get a few interested parties! Vinny the Anvil Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

  3. Health care. TORT REFORM. Killed by Ted Kennedy and pals in the Senate this year. Those taking MILLIONS from trial lawyers - not to mention running one for VP - will NEVER address this issue. Social Security. Partial privatization can save the system. Taxes. National Retail Sales Tax in conjunction with a Flat Tax would suit me just fine. Outsourcing. I don't care. Period. Research the issue a bit and you won't either. Environment. The republicans get a bad rap here from enviro-nazi's - including several who love their SUVs, one named GORE in particular. Their plan isn't much better or worse than the Dem's. Vinny the Anvil Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  4. Yaaawn. Call it headed into recession if you like - I call it recession and have read that it indeed was in recession when he took over - denying that he inherited an economy on a downturn whilst making the claim that Bush destroyed the economy doesn't dazzle me with brilliance of logic in any manner. When did Bush's first budget get enacted? Whose budget led us into the recession? If slate were truly unbiased - it isn't - it might have mentioned those two tidbits of info. Helping the economy, eh? Let's see. - used Taft-Hartley to force the whiners in the ILWU back to work; overpaid crybabies - first tax cut helped us out of the Clinton-Gore recession - recent releases hint at a willingness to look at a Flat Tax or National Retail Sales tax, which I wholeheartedly support Even if he had done nothing at all to help the economy, I would still vote for him over everyone's favorite socialist, Flipper Kerry, as his plans for the economy are goat-fuck stupid on many levels.
  5. The fact that anyone can post something stating Bush entered office with a strong economy is utterly flabergasting to me. NOTE TO BUSH-BASHERS: BUSH ENTERED OFFICE WITH AN ECONOMY IN RECESSION. Ignoring the aforementioned will not make it go away. Vinny the Anvil Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

  7. Why do I support conservatives so vehemently at the national level? Why, because I despise the alternative so much. 'Tis a sad thing that libertarian principles (some of which I do not adhere to) would do the most good at the national level but I cannot vote that way in national elections because the prospect of a socialist in office perturbs me so greatly. A few reasons I detest them so are (in no particular order): - Racial discrimination. I against it. Kerry is for it. Not getting my vote. Period. - Funding. sKerry and the DNC's biggest donor is the AFL-CIO, headed by socialist Jack Sweeney. I don't like socialism at all. - Unions. Speaking of them, dems support forced union membership, and I think that's evil. They also seek to expand government unions. I say there can be no collective bargaining with the government because the gov't is not in business for a profit. FDR agreed with me on that. Unions of federal employees are a de Tocquevellian scythe; a threat to the republic that must be stopped. Not with a Dem in office. - Health Care. He wants to socialize medicine. I think that's goat-fuck stupid. - Social Security. The Dem solution to this is a band-aid that cannot hold. - Tax cuts. He wants to let the Bush tax cuts expire, i.e. give us a massive tax increase. Screw him. - Foreign policy. John 'Neville' Kerry impresses me not at all. - Economy. His plans to punish US multinationals for seeking to optimize themselves to compete internationally is so stupid the vernacular lacks sufficient depth to describe it sans obscenities. - Environment. What a dumbass. End foreign oil dependence and no ANWR drilling. - Abortion. His views disgust me both legally and morally. That he claims to be Catholic is nauseating to me (I'm Catholic). - Education. The Democrats have no vested interest in education because, as you yourself have stated, educated professionals do not tend to vote for them. Kerry's plan for education is throwing more money at it, which hasn't worke and won't work until massive reform is accomplished in the teacher training pipeline (among other things). Any such reforms are long term solutions to the education fiasco the NEA and AFT have made for us. School vouchers are a NOW solution which sKerry cannot support because he is a tool of the teacher's unions, which are vehemently against vouchers of any sort. Any other solution is a long term solution. When sKerry says he is going to help support poor children in poor schools and then doesn't support vouchers, I think 'moron' immediately. Among other reasons. I despise the platform of the left on many levels. Hence my avid support of conservatives in national elections. 8. Ahhh so now the rank and file republicans don't oppose the legalization of marijuana because it's not on their website, eh? What a lame-o attempt at a dodge. Since you're once again vainly attempting to prove I only follow GOP principles, let me remind you: - I support legalization of marijuana (and other soft drugs) - I support very very very early term abortion from a legal (but certainly not moral) standpoint - I despise the end of double taxation of corporate dividends Among other things. None of the above would get me a standing ovation at any Republican gathering. Ignore the facts if you like. You'll be in good company with Kerry supporters if that's a habit of yours. Perhaps you could lead some sort of support group.
  9. Well, the sight doesn't have a simple 'Leave Everything to Vinny the Anvil' option, so I have to give it an 'F' overall. Vinny the Anvil Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  10. Odd that I support legalization of marijuana and just today yet again criticized the president here in the forums. Your contention does not hold under any paradigm of logic that does not ignore facts. But think that if it makes you feel better. Always good to have everyone happy.
  11. Ahhh...so you're not actually able. I've called your bluff successfully then. The explanation I offer is that each criminal offense may not be described accurately by mere type. There are many random & independent variables inolved in each. As I stated previously, no two crimes are alike and treating them as such is inane. I could really care less about the racial demographics of prisons, as I stated in my original post to John Kallend. If you do - good for you. I have faith in our justice system overall - there are perturbations that will always arise - and don't really believe racial prejudice to be the cause of any demographic disparities within the prison system.
  12. Demonstrated in your own mind at least. Very happy for you. And that's hypocritical libertarian. Vinny the Anvil Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

  14. Please do so. It's far easier to point out the lies in the one you all post than this one of sKerry's.
  15. To which shenanigans are you referring, exactly? I don't seem to recall Republicans challenging the elections in the courts or preventing the FL SecState from carrying out her duty as mandated by law. Vinny the Anvil Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  16. I doubt you could at all, as no two crimes are ever the same. A true thorn in the side for advocates and staunch defenders of a purely precedents based legal system. But by all means, please prove me wrong if you're able.
  17. It's not the U.N. that will be monitoring (thank God). Our elections already are monitored - by Dems and Repubs alike - and need no outside interlopers to ensure their veracity. This invitation disgusts me thoroughly because one of the unwritten pillars of US power has always been the integrity of our democratic process (yes, I know we're not a democracy per se, but you get the point I'm sure). That was one of the main reasons (among many others, to be sure) ALGORE's moronic judicial shenanigans in '00 perturbed me to such an extent. This monitoring just further erodes that pillar that ALGORE and friends did their best to chop down. The morons that requested monitoring in and of themselves piss me off on many levels, but I could write a book on that and won't dwell on it here. 18. Dude - Shanda and April are cool chicas. They were doing their first helo jump for that photo. Chill on calling them lesbians. And Kaz is pretty cool too. If you saw any of those ladies in person, I assure you that you'd take more than a passing glance at them - they're all hot as hell. You might not like the photos they put on the cover, but April, Kaz, and Shanda I know were ecstatic they made the cover and it would be a real buzzkill for them to read comments like you've just made. There might have been better cover photos out there, and perhaps not, but that's no need to insult somebody's sex appeal or call them a lesbian or a teletubby because you don't like their photo. Pics and image mean a lot to women and that's just cruel. Vinny the Anvil Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

  21. The plot thickens...from Boortz.... THIS IS RATHER ODD, DON'T YOU THINK Swift Boat Veterans for Truth run an ad attacking John Kerry's Vietnam war record. In that ad a man named George Elliott, a retired Navy Lt. Commander, said that he made a terrible mistake when he signed the documents for Kerry's Silver Star. After that ad surfaced a story appeared in the Boston Globe written by Michael Kranish saying that Elliot had recanted his story. Then things got curious. After the Kranish story about Elliot's retraction ran, Elliot reportedly stepped forward and said that the Kranish article was wrong and that he had not, in fact, retracted his statement contained in the Swiftees' ad. It was also reported that Michael Kranish was somewhat of a Kerry insider, having written an introduction to the Kerry-Edwards campaign book entitled "Our Plan for America." That led to this story in the Globe written by Susan Milligan. Milligan said that the Globe was standing by it's reporting, and that Kranish did not have any connection to the Kerry campaign and did not write any introduction to Kerry's book. Then things got even more curious. Did Kranish write an introduction to the Kerry-Edwards campaign book or not? Has he been exposed as a Kerry supporter bringing his bias to his news reporting? Or has there been a simple misunderstanding. Let's just say if you had searched Amazon.com or PublicAffairsBooks looking for the Kerry-Edwards book last week you would have seen a reference to an introduction written by Michael Kranish. Later, after the Kranish article about Elliot's supposed retraction appeared in the Boston Globe, the web pages for the campaign book suddenly dropped the references to Kranish and his introduction. Interesting
  22. No, not as requested. I asked you for the name of any person denied the right to vote because of their color. You've instead given me four names. Very nice names and very odd circumstances. Unfortunately, you've given me four names in lieu of ANSWERING MY QUESTION. You have provided me no proof whatsoever that the reason these four individuals were barred from voting was their race. None whatsoever. Try again. As of yet, your attempt to prove that African Americans were deliberately disenfranchised of their rights to vote en masse because of their skin color has proven fruitless. Now, let's see if I can have some fun with this. It's without question that the Dem's deliberately tried to disqualify military absentee ballots. Now, assuming that the race of military personell from FL serving abroad and unable to vote reflects that of the general Florida populace - a most reasonable assumption, I'm sure you would agree - then it seems quite a logical deduction that the Democratic party deliberately tried to disenfranchise caucasians and hispanics from voting! I have a far firmer base for this ridiculous argument than you for your argument that the GOP deliberately sought to disenfranchise minority voters. Anytime you're ready to prove the aforementioned were singled out because of their race, I'm ready to hear/read what you've got to say. Again, I'm not holding my breath at all. Ahem. http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/07/01/florida.elections/
  23. 0:0:0 + ten minutes of tunnel time. F#$&!*$%# Florida thunderstorms! At least the tunnel helped a little bit. I will give a bottle of Patron to the person who delivers the sum'bitch that has been doing this rain dance in FL to me so that justice may be rendered upon him. Congrats on #300 dude! Kickass! 24. Not paying attention? I think not. You didn't answer my question. And if they did indeed do it ages ago, then you should easily be able to state the name of the aggrieved party who was denied their right to vote because of their race. Again, I won't be holding my breath on that one. Your chance to shine here, my dear Kallend. The name, if you will. Don't worry. I won't lose any sleep if you choose not to respond. The FL GOP knew that a list of felons was predominantly minorities? Really? FL GOP members understand statistics and demographics? Say it's not so! How DARE FL GOP members actually be educated and well informed regarding prison demographics and statistics? How dare they? Those sonsof....er....uh....eeeeh....ahhh...ungabunga. Oh.
